Note: The Season 3 Premiere of Pageantry Norms – where the four winners of Miss Earth 2020 will have their first and exclusive online guesting – has been moved to Monday, November 30 at 8:30pm to give way to the Official Press Conference that will be hosted by the organizers on the evening of November 29.
Now onto the business at hand.
Truth be told, the virtual platform of Miss Earth 2020 has made it even harder to make a final forecast as to who among the 84 #EcoAngels will take the podium finishes during the November 29 Finals. In fact, the focus on their personality, intelligence and environmental awareness has never been this extensive – given the fact that their social media interviews/guestings and exposures have taken the driver’s seat more than individual parades in swimsuits, evening gowns, national costumes and sports wear.
In the throes of a long pandemic disquietude, these ladies became sources of intangible inspiration to emulate, if not the aesthetic fronts which pageant followers have long used as stronger references on who will prevail in the competition.
With just a wee bit trepidation, I am sharing with you now my Final Top 20 Selection for Miss Earth 2020 – arranged according to my personal judgment and/or preferences. The ultimate ranking in the final minutes of assessment will always be open to changes depending on how they will express and present their end game strategies. But if my current analysis stands, this is how they are likely to pan out in the hierarchical ladder of placements:
Netherlands 🇳🇱 Tessa Le Conge
Philippines 🇵🇭 Roxie Baeyens
Venezuela 🇻🇪 Stephany Zreik
USA 🇺🇸 Lindsey Coffey
Australia 🇦🇺 Brittany Dickson
Thailand 🇹🇭 Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna
South Africa 🇿🇦 Lungo Katete
Myanmar 🇲🇲 Amara Shune Lei
Spain 🇪🇸 Marta Lorenzo
Costa Rica 🇨🇷 Kelly Avila
Belarus 🇧🇾 Mariia Reznyuk
Nigeria 🇳🇬 Gwenivere Chioma Ifeanyieze
Portugal 🇵🇹 Ivanna Rohashko
Panama 🇵🇦 Anayansi de Gracia
Poland 🇵🇱 Sabina Pøltawska
Germany 🇩🇪 Annabella Fleck
Belgium 🇧🇪 Kimbery Bosman
Vietnam 🇻🇳 Thai Thi Hoa
Canada 🇨🇦 Gloren Guelos
Singapore 🇸🇬 Christina Cai
Ideally so far, the candidates from the Netherlands, the Philippines, Venezuela and the USA will stamp their class all the way to the top with anyone among them winning the coveted crown and the three others scrambling to grab the more higher-placed elements. The four of them are strong all around. And if they continue doing so, the top tier is just waiting for their ascent.
Next to this four, I place my bets on the likely quintet to soar higher when it matters most. Australia, Thailand, South Africa, Myanmar and Spain are capable of doing so – with Costa Rica or Belarus squeaking in should the breaks go their direction.
Bottomline: Any one among Tessa Le Conge, Roxie Baeyens, Stephany Zreik and Lindsey Coffey would make a wonderful successor to Nellys Pimentel. I would be pleased to see them as the Final 4 placers. Otherwise, Brittany Dickson, Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna, Lungo Katete and Marta Lorenzo get my thumbs up as potential spoilers.
Now that it is happening, it’s got to be either USA or Belarus !!!
I trust the panelist especially MEO. roxanne was our wishlist for bbp before and even now for mup. we want her to win either the two but for ME elemental is i think a good placement for ph this year. she has what it takes but there are others that can take the crown especially if they will do their best. meph always do their best especially if may potential jamie. angelia and karen did their best considering that they really are potentials. and now roxanne is among them. so i am hoping that the other frontrunners will do the best for the crown. So USA or netherlands for me.
NORMAN THERE ARE A LOT OF FAR MORE DESERVING GIRLS THAN the PHILIPPINES. BAEYENS IS OVERRATED. ME ORGANIZERS SHOULD MIND ITS TARNISHED REPUTATION in GLOBAL PAGEANTRY. KUNG PHILIPPINES NA NAMAN ang MANANALO, MABUTI PANG WALA NA LANG CONTEST at I-APPOINT na LANG ang PHIL. TAUN-TAON. ANY COUNTRY EXCEPT the PHILIPPINES. AGAIN, WE DO NOT HAVE a MONOPOLY on BEAUTY and THAT OTHER COUNTRIES ALSO DESERVE to WIN the TITLE.
Bakla, kung ganuon lang din naman ang thinking mo, e di sana, hindi nalang sumali ang pilipinas sa Ms. Earth…o kaya, nagpadrawlots nalang ang Miss Earth!!!
Lorraine and her cohorts at ME don’t give a hoot what the world of global pageantry thinks. It’s a Filipino owned beauty pageant, so in their minds, why shouldn’t the hometown girl win every year!!!?? It’s this misplaced need for validation that’s both sad and hilarious haha!
This is another fully loaded field for the Miss Earth Class of 2020 and I see a lot of women from this group representing their countries in other pageants especially in the Big Four ranks down the road.
With that being said, here are my final Top 20 Picks including the winner and her elemental court, but I’ll also add my top five sleepers to have a shot at least making the Top 20.

It’s Netherlands vs. USA for me.
Venezuela is gorgeous!
If she speaks English well, it could be another crown for Venezuela…
No Denmark ? Her communication skills and knowledge about environment is outstanding ! If Bangladesh will enter in hashtag round she will slaythe frontrunners ! Anyways, USA is the Catriona Gray in Miss Earth 🌍
It will be Phil vs Venezuela for me. With a very good advocacy, ME crown will likely land on Roxy’s head
Am not a fan of virtual beaucon…doesn’t excite me. Kaya whoever wins eh di… congrats na lang.
pakialam namin. Hindi namin kailangan ang opinion mo!
@ Lireo & @ 4M … Seems USA will comply for you both. 🙂
OK na rin ako… I just want someone from the Americas. Besides, I doubt anyone would contest.
(Tito Tinio, pakisabi ulit sa MEO, dapat SEAMLESS ang crowning! Clue again : Edge T.’s Tiktok.)
Di ko ma gets bakit maingay Yun taga santol. Alam ko maabilidad pero di maganda
They need to choose a gorgeous beauty as a winner. USA or Netherlands.
They have been a perennial runner up in the early years of ME but this now they will have victory and my predicted winner for ME 2020 is Poland !
@ jaretwrightlover Honga… Apat (4) ang “P”-group sa tally ni Boy Blogger.
My forever-pretty Magdalena Bienkowscka came to mind… 🙂
Ayaw niya kay MU-caliber (as per @ Fabian Reyes) Argentina. Ok lang… Malay mo, ME’s loss might become MU’s gain.
Singapore is a pleasant surprise! Like Noel Ng at MrG(lobal) 2016.
Mr. Norman, 1730H of 30 November is (the start of the ascent of the) full moon…. I will see what it looks like at 2030H (assuming skies will be clear). PLENTY of feminine energy to go around!
MEO should choose the candidate who has a tangible project than can sustain environment care in the midst of pandemic.
