Miss Globe Philippines 2020 and The Miss Globe 2020 4th Runner-Up Rowee Lucero is back after a whirlwind – albeit successful – representation of the country in Tirana, Albania. In a zoom meet-and-greet conference call with selected members of the pageant media, she shared her happiness in having made it to the Top 5 during the finals of the said pageant.
Rowee also intimated that she has no regrets in having taken the risk of accepting the challenge, knowing fully well that she could be removed from the roster of Bb. Pilipinas 2020 Official Candidates. And inspite of not receiving any official word from BPCI, she knows that her stint as Binibini 2 will remain just a wonderful memory of her eight (8) months along with the 39 other Binibinis who have already become her good friends. While she wanted to fulfill the dream of being on the Bb. Pilipinas stage for the finals next year, the stronger desire to represent the Philippines abroad is another pageant dream that she was able to realize inspite of the global pandemic.
Rowee is looking forward to fulfilling future public appearances for The Miss Globe in other countries. She has endeared herself to the organizers that her accompaniment is very much welcome. With both active Schengen and US multiple-entry visas on her passport, she won’t have a problem traveling even on short notice.
From all of us here at normannorman.com, welcome back and take the much-needed rest. This won’t be the last you will see of Rowee for sure!
no make up challenge sana next time
Welcome back and congratulations Rowee!!! You really made us proud so thank you!!! Win or lose, I feel you have made the right choice to grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent our country in this time of pandemic. For now, take a rest and enjoy quality time with your family and friends!
idk what to say. just congratulations and i hope that everything gets well between her and sma. hope na walang maging problem. that everything will be okay. The question now is. ma apektuhan kaya other kf bb? or bbp will drop the MG after matapos ang contract?
BPCI made a statement already. BPCI still has the MG franchise after Rowee competed
Congratulations. Win or loss, I believe she made the right decision. Few get the opportunity to represent the country in international competetion. As long as she asked permission from BPCI, it is ok for me even if the later did not consent. If she will be removed from the current official roster of Binibini, she could still join in the next edition
@ serge She asked permission prior? (The second paragraph above is telling…)
And why join in the next edition? Her desire to compete abroad has been fulfilled already…
…UNLESS, she crosses over….(So, as early as now, she needs to find a prospective AP and if necessary leave KF if she’s eyeing the A&Q-monopolized Universe). 🙂
Just knew flor that she asked permission but BPCI did not allow her due to pandemic. The most coveted title now under BPCI franchise is Bb Pil-Intl, so she may still join. But if she is aiming for MUP or MWP, she would cross-over
@flor. It is good to be crowned Binibini and compete abroad. But if I were to choose between Bb Pilipinas crown and being appointed to compete abroad, I would choose the former. I am always spellbound with the sight of a crowned Binibini.
@flor. Do not be confused with my comment. In the case of Rowee, she opted to take the risk of being removed from the roster of Binibini by accepting the offer of MG, but I want her to join again in the next edition and win the Bb Pilipinas crown
@ serge You are very kind. Rowee is fortunate to have your support. 🙂
(But with all due respects, kaya nga isa’ng issue rin ng mga faneys is bakit nakalusot siya sa BBP Screening gayon’g 5’3″ lang siya… That being said, if “shawties” like Olivia Culpo and Demi Leigh Nel-Peters Tebow are winning MU, then maybe if she wants another go, she should try at MUP or MWP instead.)
(I’m also thinking now if there was a possible scenario in which KF committed x number of candidates to Mdme. SMA, kasi nga… In which case fillers lang talaga ang magiging kapalaran.)
(In any case, these are just my musings. And Rowee’s gamble paid off. She’s happy. I won’t oppose.)
Congratulations. Win or loss, I believe she made the right decision. Few get the opportunity to represent the country in international competetion. As long as she asked permission from BPCI, that would be ok for me even if the later did not consent. She could join Binibini again next year if she will be removed from the official roster this year.
