Behold your #Binibini14 Hazel Ortiz of Pasig and her Bb. Pilipinas National Costume created by Edwin Uy.
Notes from the award winning national costume designer:
The costume of Bb. Candidate 14 Hazel Ortiz shows 2 looks, a Filipiniana gown which transforms into an ethnic tribal warrior.
Both looks depict our culture and History from 2 different times. It is also a symbolism of a modern Filipino woman who has 2 major characteristics, modest but at the same time, a fighter as Filipino women nowadays are more independent and can even match or outwit any men in terms of achievements yet their modesty has always been one of their major distict quality.

Looks plain but I assume there is a beautiful reveal underneath… can’t wait to see it!
So when is the final date for Bb Pilipinas 2020 ? I hope that when reorg happens in Bb that they give Michelle Gumabao an important prominent high-profile job/position in the Bb org since she was after-all a titleholder once of Bb Pilipinas Globe 2018 and was a semifinalist in the international pageant !
@ jaretwrightlover As per the following post on Rowena Lucero Sasaluya, it will be next year na.
“Important/high-profile/prominent” is only possible if she comes in either as an investor-partner or is appointed National Director…
… And for this latter case, BPCI would most probably offer the job first to actual global winners in their roster, like Cat or Kylie. Bear in mind, too, that certain franchisors are quite aggressive in pushing their respective pageant brands in the country via BPCI. Or, maybe why not Cordovez? 🙂
I don’t think they can easily make offers to winners like Pia, Cat , Kylie because Cat & Pia are more beholden to the MU org and should come to them when called for , & same with Kylie with the MI org
I just think Michelle deserves something more , something big , competitive nature good for business
Michelle Gumabao?
For her to manage an organization, she should learn to manage her emotions first.
Sana ipakita din yung tribal warrior side natcos na toh
@ B Cool! Hopefully, soon, Admin or Mr. Blogger can. 🙂
But, don’t you think that length of fabric looks like loincloth (sigh). 😦
Oh, I’m sorry! It’s a coat, pala… The “warrior” lies within. 🙂
