  1. Laking advantage talaga sa kanya ang virtual. and yes she has a chance. i dont know what to say. Just crown the best winner come finals. ilan ba ang pinoy sa panelist come finals? I just wish. MEO will announce the semis via FB. with live reaction or not before the finals. in that way ung top 20 lang ang gagawa o mag rerecord ng performances na gagamitin sa Finals. para hinde na mag effort lahat. ang hopefully the final performances will be traditionally na rarampa talaga sila hinde ung nasa isang pwesto na nagpapacute at ikot ikot lang just like MPE. only the top 20 will do the recordings. and yes i agree african or europian this time. sa americas yes to usa. sa asia for ME to be honest thai or indo sana but only thai that made us feel who will make it in ME among these 2 which is okay. ma maintain nya sana ung placement last year or higher.

  2. I think Roxie can try for MWP in the future.

She has a beautiful angelic face.

I think she will win Air (consolation) and give the crown to Europe or Africa.

    • @ 4M Imagine if she, indeed, was crowned Air. That would be her second First Runner-up finish after MCTU… (That being said, I thought she didn’t stand out too much in the Myanmar Preliminaries, so yeah she must be so beautiful in person the judges saw something the photos failed to capture…). (But to be fair, Yves Campos’ Indonesian queen was pretty, too.)

Will, like Polfah Punika Kunsorntornrut, she be “forever-Runner-up”?…Which means she might end up First Princess, making her ideal and ripe for a more extensive show business contract c/o ALV.

      Peaceful Sunday! 🙂

  3. As some commenters here have wished for a black winner, I would have hoped for a Ghana win. Unfortunately, there is no Ghana rep this year. Oil-rich Ghana is one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. Lately, it is heavily advertising its eco-tourism industry. Note how the major pageants have been flirting with Ghana in recent editions by including Miss Ghana in the finalists circle. Miss Globe 2020 even placed Miss Ghana as 2nd Runner Up. Talk about political economy of beauty pageants!

    • GHANA IS REPRESENTED IN MISS EARTH THIS YEAR, SHE IS TALL 5’11 SLIM AND BEAUTIFUL.
BUT FOR SURE, SHE WILL BE CLAPPER AS SHE IS NOT THAT SERIOUS FOR THE CROWN SHE IS ALWAYS ABSENT IN PRE-PAGEANT ACTIVITIES.

      • @Paquita X: If that is so, noth Miss Ghana and Carousel Productions suffer from opportunity loss. I think Ghana is the best country in Africa for a pageantry organization to gain foothold on. It has a booming oil- and agriculture- based economy, and now vigorously promoting itself as eco-tourism destination. It is relatively peaceful and no religious or tribal strife. Africa is still a MW enclave, but MU is making active forays in recent years by crowning Miss South Africa twice and Miss Angola. Both have always placed Miss Ghana in the finalists circle in recent years. MI started to put Africa in its radar an made Miss Uganda a finalist in 2019. ME seems to be missing the bus.

  4. THE WEAKEST YEAR FOR MISS EARTH BUT IT’S UNDERSTANDABLE, GIRLS DONT WANT TO JOIN IN VIRTUAL EDITION. LAST YEAR WINNERS WERETHE BEST, NO ONE COMPLAINED BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL STUNNING.
BUT IF CAROUSEL WILL PICK THE WINNERS FOR THIS VIRTUAL EDITION WISELY, THEY CAN COME UP A VERY STRONG WINNERS.
THE FOLLOWING GIRLS ARE SUPER GORGEOUS
    USA
    VENEZUELA
    POLAND
    MYANMAR
    ARGENTINA
    CHILE
    PANAMA
    JAMAICA
    RUSSIA
    PUERTO RICO
    GERMANY
    NORWAY
    PORTUGAL
    SOUTH AFRICA
    BELARUS
    NIGERIA
    BRAZIL
    DENMARK
    AUSTRALIA
    and the PHILIPPINES

  5. To be relevant
    Make your own controversy
    Magpapansin!
Be the talk of the town
    Deserving or not
    You will be judged anyways.
    Then move on
    Next year, create another issue
    Then move on ulit!
    Forget the irrelevant haters
They will be forever like that

    Looking back
    Where is miss earth now?
    Bumebenta
    Umaariba

That means, effective ang strategy nila

But personally, nakakaumay na ang Miss Earth
    Too much chuchu
    Too much paandar
    Antagal
    Ambagal
    Very Filipino!

    • Maging TOTOO at NATURAL. Dyan na naman tayo sa mga PAPANSIN.hahah. Negative strategy better than simply being natural?🤣😂😂🤣.

  6. She’s pretty, but yung ganda niya is very nakakasawa. Walang impact kumbaga. I was once a strong defender of Miss Earth until 2017, when Karen Ibasco won. Walang problema sa akin yung B2B win kasi deserving naman si Angelia. Tapos 2016, they crowned Ecuador na super deserving din. Tapos 2017, biglang si Karen? Hello? Kung hindi Philippines sash niya, di nga yan papansinin. Alam nating makuda si Karen, pero her face during that night sobrang uncomfortable kung tignan. Di naman talaga pretty si Karen, pero ang lala nung styling niya nung coronation night. Based sa final interview, she deserves to win, pero wala siya dapat sa Top 8 on the 1st place. Tapos Top 2 pa that year are both Pinays (Miss Air is Australia na Pinay). Nung 2018 muntik pa ulit silang magkorona ng Pinay (Austria). Kay Roxie, I don’t want her to win not just because masisira credibility ng Miss Earth, but because mas maraming deserving. For me, this is a weak batch, pero Argentina, Myanmar, Portugal, South Africa, USA, or Venezuela should win.

    • I have to concede to this though. Out na dapat siya sa Beauty of Face aka Evening Gown na round. Dami pa namang WOW sa taong yun.

      • Diba… Kung beauty of the face ligwak na dapat si Karen, especially with that styling. Yung pasarela niya, lalo na yung hand movements, sobrang stiff. Di naman ganun kalala face niya nung MEP, pero nung ME na mismo parang gusto ko na lang pumikit…

    • @ Fabian Reyes He was a judge at the Asia-Pacific Sportswear Preliminary (only).

He won’t be a judge on the 29th, as best we know so far…

Besides, he just said she has a good chance. It’s not as if he gave his imprimatur, the way he did with Mitch… (and even then probably was only because he was asked to make up his mind. Of course, that’s now water under the bridge.).

    • Oh my I watched the me winner chat w Lavinia Adam and Norman. Norman is rooting for her even w the what?????? Q and a .try mo watch

      • VERY GOOD (decision) NORMAN because YOU ARE BIASED ALREADY. MISS EARTH SHOULD NOT CROWN ANOTHER FILIPINA in the NEXT TEN YEARS BECAUSE BOTH GLOBAL AND FILPINO PAGEANT FANS HAVE NOT YET FORGOTTEN the UGLY FACE of KAREN IBASCO. HINDI RIN PWEDE NA TAUN-TAON NA LANG TRAINEE ng KAGANDAHANG FLORES ang MANANALO. Miss EARTH SHOULD SEE BEYOND the BEAUTY of FILIPINO CONTESTANTS. THERE ARE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL, INTELLIGENT & COMPETENT DELEGATES from OTHER PARTS of the EARTH. WE DO NOT HAVE the MONOPOLY on that thing.

      • @ Norman I’m sorry for going OT, po. But I remembered Andrea Gibau represented USA at ME 2017, no?…

If any Fil-Am is hoping to try at MUP 2021, shouldn’t they begin their residency as early as now?

As 2020 draws to a close, we need to start thinking ahead… 🙂

  7. Yung mga bakla dito ang daming hanash….may mga reputation reputation pang nalalaman. As if na pag nanalo si Roxie, ikasasama ito ng organization. We need to be fair with Roxie. Kung sakali man talaga na ginawa nya ang best nya, she should not be deprived with a chance to win the Miss Earth crown. Kesa naman magcrown ng other candidate kahit mas deserving si Roxie just to save the image of Miss Earth. This is all about Mother Earth.

  8. … If you guys want a black candidate, ‘di nga lang matunog,… Jamaica. 🙂

Pretty enough at Beauty of Face and let’s face it, Jamaica’s sash is quite good, too, at MU & MW.

Basta, ako, kailangan from the Americas ang manalo (ulit). Practically captured market ang mga Latinos! ‘Pag Asia kasi, sa country niya lang ang post-pageant following and recall, mostly… But perhaps not Canda kasi may dugo’ng Pinay again?

Puwede’ng Runner-up si Roxie, but not Air… She is at least as commendable as successor Tee.

Thailand is very sweet, indeed. But she is, imo, not the same level as Polfah Punika Kunsorntornrut. I feel Myanmar (sexy!) and Mongolia can be Top 6/8 material… Australia, too.

      • (Very) perfect!
        May pagka Excessive Compulsive.

It is ok not be perfect
        Besides,
        Hindi nman tayo
        Yung writer ng blog.

        Nakikita ang personality
Based dun sa style of writing nila

And Im not saying it is wrong,
        That is their personal identity
        Peronal branding
They are used to do that
They want to be recognized as such
        Prim and proper
        Mamamatay silang ganyan!

        And mind you,
Nakabili na ng sarili nilabg ataul
        Yung mga taong ganyan
Because they want it to be all right
        In their proper places
        Yung walang masabi mga tao
        Walang maipintas

      • @ Ozzo PRECISELY because hindi tayo ang may-ari ng blog, sa ‘tin ang burden of correction.

Mr. Tinio can correct or not correct his errors. It is for us to adjust/understand. He’s boss here!

        (I think I know who you are, po… 🙂 )

    • Problem is ang kuripot ni Miss Earth gastusan yung candidate ifly back and forth from Jamaica if ever… Dapat yung tipong me hatak si candidate na pwedeng magsponsor sa next venue ng Miss Earth ala czech republic or Vietnam… ganown!

  9. Yes, go ahead & crown KF again.

Meanwhile let me grabe some popcorn & watch Miss Earth sink even further behind Supra & MGI in terms of global prestige & credibility.

    • @ SQ GPVL & my dear sweet Angkol will be SO HAPPY with your appraisal, po. 🙂

(At this rate, baka mas bitawan pa ng BPCI ang (The)Globe kaysa MGI…)

  10. please no ! …the organization should be extra super ultra careful in deciding that the host delegate is the best one to wear the crown in any given year ,,, the organization must always strive to have the highest level of integrity and impartiality !

  11. She is almost a total package if not for her height. With virtual competetion, height will not really matter. She really has a very good chance of winning. Her advocacy even boosted her chances of getting the crown.

  12. Roxie has a good of a chance as anybody to win Miss Earth 2020, but in my mind, in order for Roxie to help the Philippines win their fifth Miss Earth title, she needs use the Karen Ibasco tactic: be just as good as anybody in the walk in both the swimsuit and evening gown and have a lot more effectiveness, wit, and gusto in her Q and A portions.

However, Miss Earth needs to give other nations a chance to win the title like the USA who has been knocking on the door since Andrea Neu’s first runner-up finish in 2014. Miss Earth USA really hopes Lindsey Coffey is the one.

I also see South Africa having a chance with Lungo Katete. Ditto for Venezuela’s Stephany Zreik.

  13. I agree, ME should crown a BLACK girl! ….They should have crowned that black barbie from Tanzania a decade ago…. Problem is did any country send a crownworthy black beauty this year?

    • I remember 2008 when Karla Henry won Miss Earth 2008 and her reaction. Tanzania’s Miriam Odemba and Mexico’s Abigail Elizalde were also pretty good.

As for 2020, South Africa’s Lungo Katete leads the way. I have her, USA’s Lindsey Coffey, Venezuela’s Stephany Zreik, the Netherlands’ Tessa Le Conge, and Argentina’s Estrella Danieri as my top five favorites to win ME 2020.

      • I agree, background wise she is crownworthy…. If only she’s as pretty as Miriam Odemba… TBH, mas maganda pa si Miss Ghana of last year…

  14. Oh no, Tito Norman!
There are other pretty girls .
She can’t be the prettiest and the most articulate .

  15. Oh No! Pleae No!
Miss Earth has been redeeming its status since that back to back wins and Karen Ibasco thingy.
Imagine, the first time they held their pageant in Europe, it was Philippines who won and even a back to back win and soon after sandwich victory. This was too much for the pageant world to grasp. I believe that started the seemingly downfall of Miss Earth and no other international franchise has shown interest in hosting the event since then. This is sometimes the problem of Filipino owned organizatios, we have this tendency to just look at our own undermining the other equally or more deserving candidates.
The organizers are actually wasting the potential of Miss Earth. With an advocacy that is timeless and very relevant to the whole world, they can tap all their potentials to be the best in the pageant world. It dismayed me that the organizers seem to be not pursuing or exerting much efforts.
I’m a fan of Miss Earth because of their advocay but I believe the organizers themselves are the ones causing its demise.

  16. IF MISS EARTH WANTS TO FURTHER DAMAGE ITS REPUTATION in GLOBAL PAGEANTRY, THEN GO AHEAD in CROWNING Miss BAEYENS. THE PROBLEM with Miss Earth Organizers is that they DO NOT SEE the BEAUTY, INTELLIGENCE and POTENTIALS of GIRLS coming from OTHER COUNTRIES. And I think this is ONE of the REASONS why RAFA of Critical Beauty Salon REFUSED the invitation of MEO to be ONE of the judges in the preliminary competition. May NAAAMOY na naman yata siyang hindi kagadahan sa virtual pageant ng Miss Earth this year.

The CROWNING of BAEYENS WILL NOT DO ANY GOOD both to Miss Earth as a Filipino organized international pageant and to the Philippines as its home base. WE WILL JUST BE HATED MORE by other nationalities. BETTER crown either Miss USA or Miss Venezuela.

    • Who you anyways?

That is the standard of Miss Earth
And they stand true to what they do

To crown a not so beautiful candifate
      With a memorized answer

  17. Roxie is fresh beauty. Her aura is also expensive. Because of the multiple winners already from the Philippines through the years, I think they will not give it to her. ***Huwag na nating isisi kay Karen Ibasco 🙂

I do feel that Roxie will place. I like Tessa, too, but may angles sya na hindi appealing. I think they support each other so, whatever!!! Go Roxie!!!

    • Let us Watch the Demise of Miss Earth after they will crown Philippines again!!
THAT WOULD BE THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN OF MISS EARTH PAGEANT!.. Sorry nalang talaga kay Roxia…Although She is deserving..but would MEO place its LEGITIMACY at stake? The whole Pageantdom is stealthily watching there move this year!!.. ..Uncle Nawat’s MGI and Supranational will jump on the scenario once Philippines is crowned! These 2 fledgeling pageants will attack and make- use of the “Philippines Again” issue by pushing their respective pageants to other National Franchisees…at the height oof discontent over the Crowning..They will be like rabid flies swarming over some rotten meat!!

  18. Philippine always wins with Miss Earth!! Please find a black candidate to win!! They are as much deserving! It’s about time!

  19. She has a good chance, kaso nakakahiya naman kung Philippines ulit mananalo. Although she deserves it, iisipin ng marami na nepotism na naman. Si Karen Ibasco kasi pinapanalo nyo pa eh 😂😂😂

  20. Roxanne Baeyens has previous international pageant experience just like Miss Netherlands and Miss Bolivia in this edition of Miss Earth. Roxanne competed at Miss Tourism and Culture Universe in Myanmar last year and finished 1st Runner Up.
