  1. Good Friday, King Tito!

Pa-remind lang, po, kay kween ang bibingka Balasan. 🙂

Ta’s, we want you to share here (in the blog) sweet homecoming photos of her with Neil (not Perez, Salvacion).

  2. So proud of you! She is the first ilongga to bag the most prestigious national title. Thank you very much for bringing so much pride and honor to Iloilo!! You are now one of the likes of Miriam Defensor Santiago! Please put Iloilo City Philippines on the world map by winning Miss Universe 2020! Ariba gwapa!!

    • No..Rabiya is not the very first Ilongga to become a National Beauty titleholder for the Philippines…. Ms.Louise Aurelio Vail of Iloilo City won the Bb.Pilipinas- Universe crown in 1965.

      • Thank you very much for that beautiful piece of information. It made me even prouder of my Iloilo City.

      • Wouldn’t you consider Pura Villanueva-Kalaw of Ilo-ilo city as the 1st National title holder being the 1st Carnival Queen in 1912?

      • @C2F, you are correct. Pura Villanueva of Iloilo is the first Carnival Queen (1908 or 1912?), when the Phils was still under American rule. Long before Miss Universe or Miss World came into being, she has shown the world the template of what a beauty queen should be– beauty, brains and values. On her own initiative, she got herself busy with various women empowerment issues, and even after her reign she was one of the pillars of the movement which pushed for women’s voting rights in the Philippines.

    • And aside from Louise Aurelio Vail… technically Shamcey Supsup and a few others have Ilonggo ancestry…

  3. so excited for Rabiya’s homecoming! It’s about time to celebrate this hardworking and humble queen’s much-deserved victory!
