  1. We need to send whoever would excell during the Prelims and closed-doors Interview to ensure that our girls would continue our placement streak…

Without a doubt Alaiza would excell during the prelims.. but for the closed-doors interview, I’m not as confident than if it was Bella or Michelle… If she makes the top 20… Her initial interview & speech would hopefully be good enough to reach the swimsuit and evening gown competition where she would surely excell and make the top 5.. the political question could possibly throw her off but at least she made the Top 5.

Michelle could possibly perform hopefully well enough during the prelims but surely, she would excell during the final interview… Her initial interview & speech would surely be good enough to reach the swimsuit and evening gown competition where she would hopefully be satisfactory enough to the judges to justify her reaching the top 5 or her journey could end there.. the political question could possibly be an extremely polarizing double edged sword but at least there is a 50/50 chance that she could make the top 3.

Bella could perform well during the prelims and she could also excell during the final interview… Her initial interview & speech would surely be good enough to reach the swimsuit and evening gown competition where she would be good enough to justify her reaching the top 5.. the political question could possibly be an extremely polarizing but there is indeed a greater chance that she would be allowed in the Top 3 since she would not be a big threat to the org’s ideal winner.

All 3 has a good chance of becoming a semi-finalist but all 3 also has a 50/50% chances of making the top5/3. I guess we should send who ever would come-out as the most POPULAR during the corronation night of MUP.

  2. Kahit sino pa mang ipadala sa MU, Phils is not going to win this time (not that I don’t want it), ano yan, PH at SA na lang nagpapasahan ng crown?
So Alaiza is still our best bet para pumasok sa semis, gandang purong Pinoy pa.
Proficiency in English does not guarantee the Philippines it’s 5th MU crown or para pumasok sa semis man lang.

This is not a shade towards Alaiza ha. This is a general thought on the importance of comm skills

      • @Orthodox

Well, Alaiza can speak well in English which is her 3rd language… it just happens that there are girls who can express themselves better than her in English which is needed as Miss Universe… She needs to prove on the coronation night that she is indeed the total package by slaying the Q&A. If she does that then there is no question… She could continue the legacy of the longest placement streak of our country at Miss Universe!

      • @C@F yes I agree, I’ve heard Alaiza speak in English and it sounds good naman. She just sometimes takes longer and more words before finally arriving at her main point, but that is certainly trainable and most importantly her answers have content, compared dun sa mga wala talagang substance at all to begin with at nadadala lang sa pagtunog confident talaga

  3. Alaiza is very much ready for MU. She has a decent communication skills which can be understood by an international audience. She couldf easily a shoo in for MU Top 10.

Enjoy your special day Ms Malinao!

    • At least Top 5. Her comm skills is enough for her to survive the Top 20 speech. Her pasarela is more than enough to get her to the Top 5.

  4. HBD. Ur 27 now, right? 🙂

Mr. Blogger, recall nu’ng nag-post kayo noon? Na nagtapat siya sa ‘yo na, “Tito, last time ko na ‘to”. When that post came up, she was already with The Camp?

Recall the comments at that time? You were “reaching out” to her (as she was in Davao, pa) as much as you could (online). You also at that time “re-launched” Celeste Cortesi, with that supplemental post on tattooed kweens as assist…

‘Yun po ba’ng 2015 na pagsali ni Inday sa BBP, very first foray niya sa pageantry sa buhay niya?

I remember, too, Margarita Moran’s white formal dress with the pink rose cabbage and Mandaya print detail trim. Please look also at ZT’s MU 2019 Prelims formal dress – similar in white, with the “coat-cape” with that “urban-tribal” print on the lining. Both tres chic! Tell her, use both as ideas…
