Let your hair down and shake it !

  2. Who styled Patricia for the finals?
If she was styled properly , she could have won the pageant . She just looked worn and emancipated.
Also, I feel like Shane should have been placed higher . She was the prettiest to me that night .

    • @ Fabian Reyes Emaciated, you meant, po?

      🙂

Shane could have only switched rank with Gianna, not significant as only a fraction of a point would have separated adjacent Runners-up. Anyway, MPEO gives, they claim, equal importance to the Elemental queens. BUT, if you meant Shane & Patricia switched ranks,…. puwede… rin. Kasi, you said Patricia looked worn. I even observed “ang puti pala niya” (meaning, was she pale?) . In any case, @ paul said Patricia is preparing to take the (Law) Board next year and coupled with her age – 27 now – this is probably her last pageant attempt. So, goodbye MUP and MU.

      • Lol .. sorry for my poor eyes
I didn’t even notice the spell checker’s hack job

      • After watching the interview with the 5 of them , it looks like everyone deserves their placement . Shane really had a tough competition There .
I just wish we had seen them next to each other . Idk.

  3. Kudos sa MPE organizers! Di man exciting ung finals pero unique ang presentation. Gusto ko laging nanonood ng MPE/ME … very entertaining. Marunong silang mag conceptualize. Very good ang communication skills din nila. Pero…. tapos na ang laban, ika nga…. Congrats to both Roxanne and Carousel Productions. Another entertaining show!

  4. And Miss Phils. -Earth 2020 is….

Ms. Mai Daos Lang from GMA-Kamuning, Quezon City!!! 🇵🇭👸

ALV? MWP? Thia, Duday, and the Princesses?

      Arnold, po.

      🙂

He needs petite-leading-ladies-to-be so that short leading men (like Addy Raj) won’t look short.

Aba! TATANGKAD – Short (not!), Akeel, Goldman, Ramachandran, Amelinckz, (Klyzah) Castro, and Payumo are some recent examples. None could be less than 5’5″, easy!

      • Sorry Flor my bad.

  6. Congratulations and good luck to the winners! I say good luck because I wish MEP would have a more visible and active commitment to support the advocacies of the winners. Climate change is an existential threat to humanity that needs action beyond parochial projects like tree planting, waste segregation and eco-bags promotion. The world community counts on organizations like ME to use its global platform to meet a global challenge.

    • Congratulations is also in order for MPE for mounting the first successful online national pageant in the world! Its pioneering effort is another crown on its head after pioneering the first-ever environmental-themed pageant. All it needs is to level-up its relevant advocacy to gain global impact.

    • Congratulations is also in order for Pageantry Norms for successfully mounting the first online post-coronation Press Conference of a national beauty pageant. Hope this is duplicated at MUP and all other online pageants to follow.

  7. NORMAN MAY IBANG TAONG GUMAGAMIT NA NAMAN NG PANGALAN KO DITO. HE/SHE POSTED A MESSAGE TODAY AT 9:16 AM. SINO NA NAMAN ANG GAGO/GAGANG ITO?

NORMAN KINDLY CHECK YOUR CYBER SECURITY SYSTEM.

      • @Paul, a parallel experience of mine happened in the past when my comment in Sir Norman’s post was quoted verbatim in a Southern newspaper and ascribed to the name of another commenter in this blog. I felt like being robbed of an intellectual property, not only of my own but that of normannorman.com. But I did not do anything. I’m too busy with my work to still find time to bother.

  8. Hail to the new queens.
This is the kind of interview appropriate for newly crowned queens.
In our own little ways, Let us start supporting our eco angels advocacies. We can plant at least 3 varieties of vegetables in our backyard. We will continue to segregate our wastes. We could educate our relatives and neighbors about the importance of taking care of our environment. We should be mindful of our daily activities in such a way that they are harmless to nature. We should always remember that the ultimate crown should rest in the head of the ultimate queen. The one and only, MOTHER EARTH. And I thank you.

  10. Sorry but this is the death of pageantry as we know it. It was already dying before covid and now it’s just irrelevant.

  11. I honestly fell asleep through the show
I’m not a fan of general pageant-y questions
I hope the part I missed includes interesting questions …those that delve into who these girls really are . I want more specifics like where they are from who their parents are where they grew up or went to school at and what their future plans are in terms of pageantrY and professional careers

    • Of course, gaga. As a ME hater ever since, expected reaction mo yan. Nahiya ka pang itodo. Hahaha.

  12. Pero infaireness ha! Nairaos ng Miss Earth ang virtual pageant!

    First of its kind!

Come to think of it, ilang international beauty pageant ang makakagawa ng ganito?

  13. Congratulations to the winners. Patrxia can still join next year and i think kahit sa bbp2021 pwede pa unless mag resign sya. kaya lang supra and globe lang ang pwede sa kanya since hinde na pwede 28 sa MI next year. ME sya sumali since theres only one crown to win to be able to represent in international pageant. Mas malaki chance nya kung nag bbp sya this year or mwp.

I don’t know what year that was. ‘Di kaya na-trauma siya?

      • Flor, Patrixia first joined BB in 2010 (batch of fellow Bicolanon Venus Rah). I think she was just 17 then and newly crowned Miss Bicolandia. She lost in that edition. But her runner up in Miss Bicolandia, Diane Necio, won the Bb. Pilipinas-International title the following year. Then in 2019 Patrixia screened for BB for the 2nd time around and sad to say she was not chosen as one of the 40 official candidates along with Wynona Buot and Kayesha Chua (also from Albay). Later that year, she joined MWP and became one of the semifinalists.

She is intelligent and just graduated last year from the UP College of Law. I think it has something to do with her styling and packaging. Figure wise she is sexy but NOT that facially stunning, so needs to be uniquely styled (hairdo, make up) and packaged (gown, accessories, etc.)

I think this year is her last year in pageantry (because she is already 27) and Patrixia said that she is going to take the bar exam next year, hence the review and preparation is very crucial and much needed.

      • @ paul 2019? Last year? Baka 2018? ‘Yung year na hindi pumasa sa Screening sina Wynona, Kayesha, and the model-type girl from Iloilo whose name I forgot (lagi’ng naka-updo)… (na-accept din siya sa MWP…. pero, still did not place).

(But Kayesha herself went on to represent in Vietnam, and won (The) Miss Asia Award, no?)

ANG PUTI PALA NI PATRIXIA. 🙂

…. but, hindi rin ‘yata matangkad. Baka 5’4″ – 5’5″ (rin lang).

@ jed May height requirement sa (The) Globe, said @ unorthodox. Minimum 5’8″, ‘yata. So, 😦

      • @ paul I just remembered.

        It was Ruffa Nava.

Also, po, what happened to Agatha Romero, Anjamie Magbitang, and Sophia Baino?

And is your other UP Law bet, Khrystelle Campos, planning for MWP 2020? Or Mutya, perhaps?

      • @flor Patricia is a strong 5’6 . Patrixia is so mup material. She looks like Vanessa of missworld 2018

  14. Aaawwwww….. My WIFI buckled. I only got snippets – Gianna, Ilyssa, & Shane.

    😦

I saw the number of viewers go up to 300+. Considering this is an exclusive and the vlogger is the best in the country, is this a BIG number for a weekend (Sunday)-conducted National that got fans curious as to how a virtual beaucon would pan out? Mr. Tinio, are you happy with this number?

I suggested you do a repeat of “The ABC of The Camp” on 23 October. Can you work out a robust alliance between the followers of the three candidates for a GRAN MITING DE AVANCE?

Also, why not an episode with Atty. Nad Bronce on designing the Question Round training module for MUP 2020, po? He did ask for your guidance, didn’t he? After all, you are COACH-MENTOR.

    • I’m actually following the number of views of the interview and it’s almost 20k as of this reply. I’m happy with that running stat.
