  1. Since MI 2020 is cancelled, will Sireethorn be the Miss International 2019-2020? She will have the longest reign in MI history.

    • @ miss tissa May nabasa ako somewhere, hindi ko maalala kung saan….

Hindi siya ang first time na nangyari ang ganito sa kasaysayan ng MI.

But yes, Bint will be kween until Fall 2021. 🙂

      • Flor, since the Miss International 1966 pageant was cancelled, the 1965 winner Ingrid Finger’s reign was the longest among titleholders totalling 624 days. But Bint Sireethorn will beat that record since her reign will be roughly close to 700 days. Exact number of days will depend on when the next edition will be staged but it will still be more than 624 days for sure.

  2. Mr. Tinio, will Sireethorn Leearamwat serve as muse for the Thai contingent at the Tokyo Summer Games? Remember Pornthip Nakhirunkhanok at the Seoul Games?

Japan fosters “peace through international exchange” by giving out scholarships to foreigners. I was surprised to learn that there are many Indonesians studying there; they have become fluent in Nihon-go (?). Japan is also an important donor to Third World countries for development projects.

May just ended and so have the roses. But a park in downtown Tokyo hopefully will still show RESPLENDENT Japanese iris. Imagine a flooded plot of land but instead of rice,…

    …. suddenly had a hankering for Carlos Yulo…. 🙂
