  1. I like Leren kahit noon pa man.

    • @ VINA YU What I liked about Leren, too, was her CONSISTENCY on the anti-bullying (in school) advocacy. She spoke of NOTHING else in interviews. She did not pretend to be something she wasn’t, merely focusing on who she truly was. 🙂

      • Agree with that. Napepekean kasi ako dun sa iba. Parang napakapretentious lang. Char!

  2. I am not a fan of ANTM or similar shows . The little clip that I watched with AlaIza, on it . .. I realized the show is more of a telenovela. So I won’t take Alaiza’s attitude on the show as a reflection of who she really is.
I actually find her really humble. I just wish she would realize that every thing is recorded and that she should be careful with what and how she says things. She cannot go down to the Level of the interviewer.
That’s where Bella Separates herself from the rest of the candidates She always Talks and behaves with class regardless of who the interviewer is .
But Alaiza, is the most perfect candidate physically. And I believe she is smart And articulate enough To make top 5 or top 3 At miss universe.

    • Yung age though. January 28, 2021 – she’ll be turning 28. Diba yung rule sa Miss Universe is less than 28 ka on February sa year kung kailan ka magcocompete?

  3. Need to make this quick. WIFI has begun to buckle, again….

MTQYI, a MOUTHFUL. Leaves no doubt as to how SERIOUS Tan Sri Danny Ooi is. 🙂

Mutya held the Filipinas franchise then, Mr. Tinio, no? Still, po?

Malaysia (KL, specifically) was a most enjoyable trip. Friendly folks, CLEAN environs. YUMMY breakfast buffet consisting of traditional sticky sweet treats. I mentioned before GLEAMING Petronas Twin Towers at night….

At that China Town Night Market, I got a really nice t-shirt on which was printed Malaysian expressions, such as “you want a salary increment (boss laughing at employee’s request)?” and “otak-otak (with one finger making circular motions on the head, denoting insanity)”.

I would, if given the opportunity, like to visit the highlands of Pahang – Ringlet, Genting, & Cameron. Then savor the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is old Georgetown of Penang, where there are quaint-colorful storehouses and Nonya/Peranakan cuisine.

Then, there’s Kucing, Sarawak, and Sabah….. Which one has the annual international jazz fest?

Malaysian guys, when the blend of Indian, Malay, and Chinese extraction is harmonious, are HOT.

    • Also, “kek lapis” (Sarawak layer cake, a technique learned from the Dutch and so can also be found in neighboring Indonesia but the Malaysian version is TOP).
