  1. She should.

At sana one more time kay Vickie. Tutal wala na ang MU franhise sa BbP, pwede na ibalik yung dating category for judging.

  2. One last try for BbP 2020! I am sure you will be crowned one of the titles. Go girl!!!

  3. she deserves another try im just worried she might become a hanna ruth sison …scary hehe

    • @Bill Ramos……..she already did pull the HANNAH ruth sison. Did she end up being back to back runner up without a placement progress???? At least Hanna did progress to one placement didn’t she??? Anyway, that tells you that Bernardo is consistent to say the least…………….

  4. basta yung walang q&a, di pa rin maalis sa isip ko yung sinabi niya about political dynasty…

    • @ san longhino It’s not her fault.

For the most part, it worked in Palawan. At least, that was how I understood and that was her position and we need to respect that.

Yes, it was a bold strategy to go against popular belief. She came across as an iconoclast, as a result. But I give her credit for her honesty. Just as we gave Sandra Lemonon credit for admitting she knew nothing about the Build(3x) Program.

      But here’s the thing.

BPCI probably tailored the BBP pageant all this time PRECISELY to fit the MU mold of hard-hitting red-button Q&A. Not a few feel this is unnecessary; a few more say it is unfair to force candidates to air their opinions on the News of the day. BUT NOW THAT MUP IS OUT OF THE PICTURE, BBP can begin toning down the Question Round to more general and less contentious subjects. After all, beaucons are supposed to ALSO promote gentility and consensus, not provoke war & violence (as my dear sweet Angkol champions). 🙂

  5. If she really wants to join.. i think BBP is the perfect choice for her. kahit na 2nd RU siya lagi don… sa age niya ngayon mas maraming chance sa BBP na manalo siya ng crown kesa sa MUP. feeling ko lang ha.

  6. TO SAMANTHA B. & HER HANDLERS. BASAHING MABUTI ANG AKING LITANYA. IF YOU ARE TURNING 28 THIS YEAR, SALIHAN MO LAHAT EXCEPT MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES BECAUSE YOUR KNOWLEDGE LEVEL & COMMUNICATION SKILLS are INADEQUATE. DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELF TO BB. PILIPINAS, DAHIL BAKA MATULAD KA KAY TONI HIPOLITO NA 3 BESES SUMALI SA BPP, SYEMPRE 3 BESES DIN SIYANG NATALO. HINDI RIN SIYA SUMUBOK SA IBA KAYA WALANG NANGYARI SA KANYANG PAGEANT CAREER. YOU TRY MUTYA PILIPINAS (tingnan mo si April Short) ni CORY, MISS PHILIPPINES EARTH ni LORRAINE, at MiSS WORLD PHILIPPINES ni Arnold.

    • @PAUL…ouch..but I guess she has every right to compete just like PIA did (she did 3peats right???). Im not too familiar with her competitive history or her Q&A’s. Was she really terrible last year? I did see the clip and I know I did not remember because it was very forgettable. I know the VICKIE stumble big time during her Q&A and that completely diminished her chance of clinching a crown. Vickie was so regal during that night her old Hollywood look was in perfection.

  7. Sam B needs to join and win
The judges should make her win . The answer to the final Q&A should not be the sole basis for the crown. Look at Maria Isabel Lopez , Limpin , etc. How did they do internationally

Sam B could have been a more successful MUP MIP MGiP or Supra .

Sam B, you deserve to rep the country at a major major pageant
    Pls JOIN AGAIN!!!!
Tito Norman , pls convince her to join again !

    • @ Fabian Reyes I would take Maria Isabel Lopez. Not sure about Perfida Limpin, though. 🙂

  8. Tough call.

Third time is a charm OR three strikes and you’re out!

Personally, she should. Another three-peat as 2nd runner up again in 2020, then hang it up…for good.

  9. I LIKE what I saw and heard in her vlog debut. ABSOLUTELY.

Mr. Tinio’s not-so-veiled reference to ICSM-Infinity-PGQ, the “newer national pageant”. ONLY on one condition – she wins. Otherwise, close the chapter on pageantry for good. Make it happen, Blogger.

In my opinion, if BPCI was unwilling to give it to her last year, it means they really don’t want her.

I very rarely give a care about what candidates do after their pageant stint. But with SamB, I am happy to make an exception.

I give to her the same piece of advise and love the Blogger gave to another Nationals alum who moved on last year. He said, “Wherever life brings you, never change”. 🙂
