  2. Not a very graceful presentation of the national costume from Michelle
She has Wynwyn as a resource person for this
    What happened ?

  3. Tuyot ang looks ni Miss Jamaica based on that photo. But congrats pa din!

I still do not understand how they are cutting the finalists during the competition.

India really has Lola Julia at her neck. Lagi na lang curry ang putahe. I think Lola Julia still holds grudges on Filipino fans to be honest.

  4. Sinabi pa ni Piers Morgan na he will choose the hottest girl to win Miss World. What’s wrong daw in celebrating beauty. Ito lang pala yung sinasabi nyang hottest.. hay naku.. and the rest of the world will yawn.

Lahat ng mga Miss Jaimaca na nanalo ng Miss World ay mga pangit just like during the time of Ruffa.

    • Miss World 1963 Carole Crawford and Miss World 1976 Cindy Breakspeare are both from Jamaica and were stunningly beautiful when they won the Miss World title. Miss World 1993 Lisa Hannah may not be your ideal beauty type but has a great personality. She later became a politician in Jamaica. Cindy Breakspeare became a wife to the great reggae artist Bob Marley.

      • Stunning? Really? Both are just plain jane. A lot more gorgeous women in their respective batches. Go figure.

  6. Imagine if Miss Earth crowned Miss Ghana, Evelyn Abena Appiah, this year, & started the Black Girl Magic trend in the alpha pageants.

Unfortunately, a beauty like Evelyn or Zozibini would never win in a Philippine-based pageant. Morenas, the majority of us, don’t even stand a chance in local pageants, so what more darker-skinned delegates from Africa?

I’m still crushed that Evelyn didn’t even get a runner-up title/crown at Earth this year. I hope the results at Universe & World will allow us Pinoys to expand our definition of what is considered (& awarded as) beautiful.

I wanna support Alaiza as a possible morena titleholder. But I just don’t see the fight & determination & work ethic & perseverance in her.

  7. There are so many beautiful Filipinas who look like her walking the streets of the Philippines, in the provinces and in households all over the world …. who could also sing like her, or much better… Sadly not being given the opportunities they deserve

  8. gosh siya pala yung lion na sinabi ni gurmeet. ok naman kumanta at medyo sweet image si ate keribels na1 mas bet ko siya kaysa kay zozibini

  9. She seems like a lovely person INSIDE… but she is probably the least attractive Miss World winner since Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar won in 2009. Sorry, not sorry.

  10. I kinda was expecting a black delegate to win.

After Julia read that big New York Times article that came out last week about how the big beauty titles were all won by black women this year, Ms. Morley looks as if she’d made up her mind to elbow her pageant in alongside the other winners, to ride with the tide of pageant history.

So here we are. Yes, Miss World, too! If it’s not too late to mention it, LOL!

    • @ Casper She could really not be considered “black”. Mixed race-Indian, perhaps.

Mr. Blogger Tinio, IS APRIEL SMITH JOINING MUP 2020?

      🙂

      • She may be mixed, but like most Jamaicans, she is predominantly black, and even the mixed black Jamaicans also themselves identify as black and are proud of their African heritage. And nothing wrong with that. I’m just telling it like it is.

  11. Nothing against her beauty and lalo na ung kanyang personality pero parang masyado lang pinush masyado ung pagkapanalo nya. Well, ndi ko rin naman ineexpect na manalo c Michelle pero Jamaica was not even in the Top 10 of BWAP and kahit sa Head to Head eh wala siya while the 4 remaining finalists… andun sila sa isa sa dalawa or even both for Nigeria and India.

Yun lang din ang mahirap sa MW… unlike sa MU, MI, ME, MS, and even MGI… kahit alam mong may favoritism eh nakita mo ung competition… ndi ung parang may isang umpok lang ng magkakaibigan n nagkita-kita then they talked on who`s the best dressed celebrity sa isang awards show.

    • Di ka pa natuto? Nothing matters really. No real contest. Parang lokohan lang nga eh basta kung sino gusto ni Julia eh pasok sa banga na.
