  1. this is great set of.winners but still we never knows..

    adding in this list

    sorsogon and daraga albay malabon

total of 14 as my best candidates.

all of them are not perfect unlike last year sure winner si Cat.

    lets see… though #Pat could.be the #Cat of 2019

  2. Top 15
    Andrea Abesamis
    Nicole Guerrero
    Resham Saeed
    Jessarie Dumaguing
    Ilene de Vera
    Denise Omorog
    Leren Bautista

    2nd Runner-up: Julia Saubier
    1st Runner-up: Samantha Lo
    Binibining Pilipinas Globe: Emma Tiglao
    Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental: Vickie Rushton
Binibining Pilipinas Grand International: Gazini Ganados
    Binibining Pilipinas Supranational: Samantha Bernardo
    Binibining Pilipinas International: Hannah Arnold
    Miss Universe Philippines: Patricia Magtanong

  3. I agree with the top 2 placements based on their beauty + strengths + pageant fit! However, it does feel like an open race this year so I hope amazing winners get crowned. Going by Norman’s format, here’s who I think should place:

    MUP – Patch Magtanong
    International – Vickie Rushton
    Supranational – Gazini Ganados
    Intercontinental – Emma Tiglao
    Globe – Ilene de Vera
    Grand – Samantha Lo
    1RU – Hannah Arnold
    2RU – Isabela Galeria

    Alternates:
    Jessica Marasigan
    Aya Abesamis
    Joanna Tolledo
    Martina Diaz

I’m torn with my assignments for the other 4 titles as I could see these ladies doing well across all of them so they’re interchangeable. I’d be totally happy if Hannah gets a crown but with her rawness I’d rather she gets polished and becomes more confident to nail one of the top titles next year! Isabela is peaking at the right time and her photographs of late have been super strong.

I also want to congratulate the photographers and designers this year as the official photography (eg. swimsuit and glamour shots) and national costumes have been next-level fantastic!!! I hope it means inventive yet tasteful evening gowns this year too!

  4. Here’s my Line Up of Possible Winners:

    MUP – Patch Magtanong
    MI – Hannah Arnold
    Supra – Emma Tiglao/Gazini)
    MGI – Gazini Ganados/Emma T.
    Intercon – Vickie Rushton/Sam Bernardo
    Globe – Jessarie Dumaguing/Saeed

Runners Up- Any of the alternates above/ Leren/ Sam Lo/ Ilene/ April Short/ Aya/ Julia

  5. di ako covinced on Patch’s beauty…pag yan naging MUP maswerte nang maka top 15 tayo

    • tinay, convinced ako sa beauty mo. ikaw nalang ang mup

    • Nakukulangan rin ako…She’s like Shamcey 2.0…nothing wrong with that, pero sana ibang ganda naman.

  6. Puede naman talaga si Patch ka ya lang kakabahan talaga tayo sa MU. Her beauty is very debatable , talagang nobela labanan to defend either side.
Puede pa si Hannah Gazini Sam Lo Julia Jessarie Vickie Emma or even Saeed with the right styling.

More on the underrated candidates: Honey of Rizal. Her face is amazing .Puede MUP. s
Enough of Galeria who is one of the most overrated girls .
Sam B disappointed me big time sa Free Speak ….the grammar and the diction ,wow! She reminds me of Jehza who was impressive during her first bid… But turned off everyone the following year.

  7. Sam lo is also a bet for mup. Yun nga lang Walang musih reaction sa face nya lalo na pag sumasagot sa Q&A. No awra. Weak pasarela but can be trained and also her body can be improved naman. Pero pwede sa mu basta she need to show muish thing on finals.
Sya nga pala norman. How can you help us to bring down that lambe ig account. Nakakainis na sya ha. Tapos naka follow pa talaga mga queens ng indo sa kanya. Tsk.

  8. I really like Samantha Lo but she is not as polished even if she joined and won in Bb Cebu.

    • i think dahil hindi sya ang flag bearer ng camp nya that’s why hindi ganon katutok pero i’m convinced na kapag nanalo sya she can turn a total 360. sam lo is very transformable, she listens to suggestions and strives to improve herself.

  9. MUP: Samantha Lo
    International: Hannah Arnold
    Supranational:Emma Tiglao
    Intercontinental:Vickie Rushton
    Globe:Leren Bautista
    Grand Int’l: Samantha Bernando
    1Rup:Patricia Magtanong
    2Rup:Resham Saeed

  10. Japanese ppl dont like girls who r short with big boobs like Vicky rushton so Hannah is a better choice for MI. I prefer Ilene de Vera over Leren, and Dessarie over Emma. Good luck to these girls!

    • Huh. Funny lang tho coz MIO seems to really like Vickie. They’ve consistently been hinting their preference for Vickie even up to this day

  11. 2nd runner up – Jessica Marasigan
1st runner up – Ilene Astrid de Vera
Bb Pilipinas Globe 2019 – Samantha Mae Bernardo
Bb Pilipinas Grand International 2019 – Gazini Christiana Jordi Ganados
Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2019 – Jessarie Dumaguing
Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019 – Leren Mae Bautista
Bb Pilipinas International 2019 – Maria Isabela Galeria
Miss Universe Philippines 2019 – Vickie Marie Milagrosa Rushton

    • I like this prediction but as much as I like Isabella G she’s too young . Give her 2 or 3 years and she can win but for now this is a good experience win or lose

      • Young, doll-like face, refine, sweet, innocent looking are some of the qualities that the MIO is looking for and Miss Galeria definitely fits the bill.

Generally, the type of Miss Globe is morena, exotic for Grand, sexy and kayumangi for both Supranational and Intercontinental, and confidently beautiful for Miss Universe.

  12. Patch Magtanong, one-trick one-look pony. Not even spontaneous. Sam Lo can think more quickly, more spontaneous and more concise with her answers. She commands attention. Sam Lo for MUP!

    • Really Bitch?! Guess what…

      Sam Lo is no dancer…

Patch is more beautiful in motion than Sam Lo…

Even the female Martian in the movie “Mars Attack” moves better than Sam Lo. 🙂

  13. I am just wondering what is the deal with Guerrero … she is totally flying under the radar ( at least my radar ) . Is she really a threat to the front tier ladies ?

  14. Patch is a good choice . So many contenders this year can get MUP. Really depends on Q and A and who brings it stage presence Sunday . Just worried Patch needs better make up , her face is not as universally beautiful as Hannah or Gazini

  15. My prediction based on the possible questions and Q&A results:

MU Patricia Magtanong- her question would surely be a rephrased MU Question
MI Samantha Bernardo – her question might be advocacy related.. or any social issue connected to Japan or President Duterte.
MIC Vicky Rushton- a controversial social-issue related
MS Jessarie Dumaguing- Personal background/ personal issue related.(if she finishes w/ flying colors, she could switch places w/Sam B)
MG Emma Tiglao- Politics, Religion, Finance related.(If she excells w/ flying colors, she might switch w/ Sam B or Vicky)
MGI Gazini Ganados- World issue/Politics related.( If she fails.. she gets demoted)

1st RUp Hannah Arnold- Personal/Philippine culture and/or language related.(international if she excells)
2nd RUp Leren Bautista- Social awareness related.(MG if she excells)

Andrea Abesamis- a tough socio-political related rephrased Miss Universe Question(MIC or MG if she excells)
Resham Saeed- Multi-cultural, Religion, Political related question (If she Aces this.. she might replace Gazini)
Nicole Guerrero- Multi-Cultural and social relevance related question( if she Aces this, she might get MG or MGI)
Samantha Lo- Politics, Religion, Finance related question(MG, MGI or nothing)
Eileen De Vera- A hard hitting Politics, Religion, Finance related question.. possibly connected to our current govt. Admin.(2nd RUp?)
Julia Saubier- a controversial WORLD Politics, Religion, Finance related question(Either a 2nd RUp,MGI or nothing)
Casandra Chan- Local Politics, Religion, Finance related question
    Jessica Marasigan- Socio-political related

We have a lot of Front Runners this year… And I predict that it’s going to be a repeat or combo of BBP 2011 Q&A and last years’… As in madugo and hopefully walang tapon..

GIRD YOUR LOINS LADIES.. IT’S GONA BE A BUMPY RIDE AHEAD!!! I’M SO EXCITED!!!! 😀

  16. Miss Universe is not just looking for pretty face but a relatable personality, fun and spokeperson. I believe I found that in Miss Julia Saubier from Darabga Albay. 😻

I wish she deliver a fierce competition On Sunday.

All the very best for the binibinis. ♥️

      • Yaaaaaas!!! JULIA SAUBIER!!!! ♥️♥️♥️ Philippines in full support!!! ♥️♥️

      • She’s ugly. To quote myself way back before, “She’s a butterface.” Fea, Panget, 못생긴 얼굴

      • Julia is beautiful. Likewise, you’re beautiful mori. Everybody is beautiful. ♥️
This is my last comment to you. Wishing your candidate success as well.
Lots of love to you 😘

  17. I agree most of your picks each title. Patch has the height. The beauty and the brain fits for miss universe. The body can be trained and enhanced into musih level. My only concern to her is her movements. Idk. D ko maexplain movements nya pero you will not see that movement to our past mu queens from 2010. All them maganda movements nila and their catwalk. Very queenly. But patch still act as a starter. But She did great during the gala night. She can perform well in EG than swimsuit. Hinde ko like ang galaw nya and lakad nya. Na ta train yan pero parang sya ung type na kahit anong train mo sa pasarela eh ganun pa din kalabasan. Ganun pa din movements nya. Parang si katarina R. Second join nya mwp pero her performance that time was was parang naglalakad lang sya. Second patch need to sports different hairstyle. CHI loves hair na maraming magic sa buhok. Hinde lang straight hair para masabing universal ka talaga. I hope her team will not style her as a teen on finals.

  18. Miss Universe: Patricia Magtanong
    Miss International: Hannah Arnold
    Miss Intercontinental: Vickie Rushton
    Miss Supranational: Gazini Ganados
    Miss Globe: Samantha Bernardo
    Miss Grand International: Samantha Lo

    1st runner-up: Leren Mae Bautista
    2nd runner-up: Aya Abesamis

  19. C2F Parekoy, marami’ng salamat ulit, in advance.

Which passport is stronger, again – Canadian or Australian?

Kasi,. parang gusto ko’ng ipalit si Resham kay Hannah.

    • I second. What the buzz with Hannah? When Resham is equally a hype material? Some free talk reviewers think Resham did well. And the morena beauty is a clear standout in the West.

What with the lawyer status, if your genes and passport shout DIVERSITY, and you can articulate and show it sa madlang people.

      • I hate to agree with this because I love Hannah, but the only thing she had going for her in that free speak segment was her accent and her innate fluency in english. Resham’s answer packed more punch. I also believe that Resham would shine internationally. Beauty that would standout amongst the latinas and a distinctly unique asian beauty. Imagine the clamor.

    • @Flor, I looked it up. Canadian passport can visit 165 countries visa free while the Australian passport can visit 163 countries visa free.

  20. I am all good with the bloggers’ pic, although if I was the one who did it, I will tweak it so:

    Sam Lo is the MUP
Patch and Hannah as runner’s up, or non-MUP crowns
And then, Jessarie, and April Mae Short as spoilers.

    • I second that. Sam lo and Resham are my favorites for MUP. Jessarie and Jessica Marasigan as spoilers.

  21. I think that Samantha Lo is a great contender for MUP. In the actual MU battle, I can imagine her doing very well as well.

  22. Thank you tito Norm! This is one of the most exciting batch. Alot of things can happen come Sunday night! Pageants fans and candidates should not be discouraged or feel bad, because it’s just Tito Norms observation at the end of the day, luck and performance talaga on Sunday. Enjoy girls! I am proud sa inyong lahat. Laban lang!

    • My MUP is Gazzini Ganados. Her beauty stands out from the rest. She can articulate herself well in english though not the very best among their group. Her communication skill is there and needs a little polishing. Patricia Magtanong was my early favorite for the top crown but I guess her impact fades away as the competition heats up. I believe she was left out miles away when it comes to beauty and confidence. She is very brilliant and her communication skill is outstanding, enough to give us hope to make it to the top 10 or top 5 of Miss Universe 2019 BUT COULD SHE MAKE IT TO THE FIRST CUT WHEN ALL THE PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES ARE BEING CONSIDERED FIRST? Probably not. This is just my humble opinion and I highly respect the judgment of our blogger because he is actively involved in Binibining Pilipinas pageant. Good luck to all the girls.

      • Besh, hindi sya pang-MU. Tama na yang kakaulit mo na good sya sa communication, outstanding siya sa communication. Kaumay paulit ulit. Like the who ka ba sa larangan ng communication?!

Hindi ako linguist or com grad pero naman, utang na loob, Gazini is no good speaker.

      • This is a platform to freely voice our opinion and criticisms to give light on issues that interests us most – pageantry. I wish people here are open-minded enough to accept the views of others and act within reason. Behaving in a way that shows aggression and sarcasm simply reflects jealousy, insecurity and failure. We can only be civilized in our dealings with identities we are not even concerned or familiar of. VIVA, may you live well in this lifetime. Thank you.

    • I definitely agree with the top 2 placements based on their beauty + strengths + pageant fit! However, it does feel like an open race this year so I hope amazing winners get crowned. Going by Norman’s format, here’s who I think should place:

      2RU – Isabela Galeria

  23. great choices… one thing I would replace Guerrero with Abesamis …

Here is my top 25: ( in no particular order)
April Short , Ilene de Vera, Gazini Granados
Tiglao, Bernardo, Magtanong, Rushton, Abesamis, Bautista, Arnold
Lo, Saubier, Penchon, Saeed, Marasigan, Dumaguing
Martina, Sigrid, Isabela, Denise, Tolledo, Chen, Tormes, Marquez, Lacap

  24. Just like to share my personal picks for BBP2019:
    MUP – Gazini
    International – Hannah
    Supra – Emma
    Intercon – Vickie
    Globe – Julia
    Grand – Patch
    1RU – Sam Lo
    2RU – Sam B.

    Semis:
    Aya
    Jessarie
    Leren
    Ilene
    Isabela
    April
    Resham

This year is really interesting since a lot of girls are WORTHY of a crown.
    May the best Binibini win!

    • Well, predicting six titlist does take its toll.
Patch for the MUP crown for me too.
Vicky R. fits the Bb Intn’l mold.

The dynamics of predicting next year’s MUP will be totally different being only ONE winner and four runners-up.

If so, the BbP International crown will take its place as the plum-prize at BPCI.

May be a blessing in disguise as MUP and BbP International will truly be equal titles.
