It won’t be long till we get to see new photos of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray in Manhattan, NY. After all, she will be residing here for an entire reign.

Above and left are images of our Queen when she visited the Big Apple last September to walk for the Sherri Hill fashion show.

She was styled by Vhee Co and Francis Chee in all the photos.

Meanwhile, below is a short clip of our Queen taken earlier this week.

While holding on to the crown from falling off her head, it took Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray just nine (9) seconds to utter her heartfelt gratitude to all the Filipinos when she was whisked away from inside the Impact Arena to her very first Press Conference last Monday morning.

  7. 2000-2009 were the years na walang pumasok na semifinals ang Philippines which is 10years straight, until 2010-2018 present 9 years na straight naman na pumapasok sa semifinals ang Philippines with 2 Miss Universe crown na, isang taon na lang at bawi na natin ang 10years drought. I guess tayo na lang ang bansa na for the longest time ay pumapapasok semifinals 9 consecutive years hopefully we can keep this record for a longer time. Ok lang na runner up or semifianls next year kahit hindi back to back, mukhang mahirap makahanap ng ka back to back wala ngang maisip na specific na potential candidate na pwede kaya for few year let us rejoice the victory of Cat muna.

      • India has an 11 years SF streak with 2 Miss Universe wins in that span. We need 2 years more to match the feat. However, in overall terms, India has only 2 MU’s (1994 & 2000) while Philippines has 4 MU’s now (1969, 1973, 2015 & 2018). With Chavit as the MU “partner in Asia”, mukhang di na ako mashock may isang winner ulit tayo next 5 years 🙂

    • Beh, wala pa sa kalahati ng record ng Venezuela na 20 years (1983 – 2003)! Ika nga “Work until your idols become your rivals”. Kailangan din na ma-defeat natin yung back to back stint nila to solidify our position!

      Marami pa tayong kakaining bigas para mapantayan ang Venezuela sa pageantry! They started early. Ewan ko lang kung ma-sustain yung streak ngayong wala na sa poder nila si Lola Osmel!

      Nangyari na rin yung kinatatakutan ko na habang nagbabangayan ang mga Pinoy at Indonesian at ang mga Colombian at Venezuelan, may nakikinabang sa resulta and that is Puerto Rico! Miss Earth na lang ang kulang nilang corona at cumpleto na nila lahat ng alpha crown at Tier 2 crowns! This is not the time to rest on our laurels!

    • Well, anything is possible. The momentum the Philippines is having right now is strong enough to break the record of India’s 11 straight semifinal appearance, the best in Asia so far. India’s performance changed when the MU India franchise went to another group and everything went downhill ever since.

      I also thought we will wait another 40 years before we win again in Miss Universe after Pia’s victory, until Cat shattered all my expectations last week. She made me believe that anything is, indeed, possible , with hard work and a good strategy.

  8. I would suggest that no-one engage in discussion with jeremi & other trolls anymore.

    He’s never liked Catriona, he will never acknowledge her strengths, he will only focus on what he perceives are her weaknesses and magnify them so that Catriona’s hard work, her accomplishments, and even her humanity are completely negated.

    At this point, he’s just trolling.

    If you study the psychology of trolls, you will note that they will lie & distort facts in order to taunt & hurt people. In fact, they have deep streaks of sadism. It gives them pleasure to inflict pain on others.

    The best way to neutralize the power of trolls is to ignore them.

    I would myself prefer the board were moderated, but Sir Norman has quite a high tolerance for trolls. If he chooses to make his blog a haven for trolls, we must live with it.

    So let’s ignore the trolls. They’re just desperate for attention, especially negative attention. It feeds their sadism.

    Let’s kill them by ignoring them.

    • Jeremi is sick in the head. Human Rights Commission says don’t judge them like the Ateneo bully guy. They need help badly as they are mentally deranged. Jeremy’s behavior is like wearing winter coat while in Boracay. I personally, believe they need to be punished like hell just like Teddy Locsin said of that Ateneo bully guy. Beat them to a pulp.       My ideal top 3 – Philippines Canada South Africa . I think Canada was eliminated early on .. for a stratetegic reason . .. like when they left out USA and Philppines last yr . You know how Q&A can turn the tide in favor of the less ‘f avored’ but more articulate candidates .

      • I have not seen any videos of Canada to gauge how smart she could be in handling the qanda but I think Venezuela deserves the Top 3 and Top 5 more than Canada. Canada’s gown I think was too ‘look at me’, she kept on focusing on the engineering thing and nothing else more substantial if I may say. Venezuela, I noticed, had this good girl/best friend vibe going on for her during the finals. I think she genuinely had a down-to-earth, friendly personality the judges appreciated which is quite refreshing for a miss venezuela. Even more, allegedly, Canada wasn’t entirely truthful about her educational background.
