  1. Mas napapansin si Indonesia.

At kapag hindi nagbago ang mga araw na darating……..malamang sa finals hindi makakapasok sa semis si si Jehza.

Awrahan, harot at may landi ang supranational!

hindi pa huli Miss Jehza……Go go go Philippines!

    • Agreed with Indonesia! Lutang si ate girl. Kaya nga paminsan nagtataka ako kung bakit parang mali ang pageant assignments ng Puteri girls. Lol.

  2. Jehza was spectacular!
She was one of the best.
I also love Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland and India.

  3. The gown is beautiful but it doesn’t fit her well especially the upper part and the strap.

  4. The evening gown preliminary competition was already held yesterday which was streamed live in Facebook. Before that, the Top Model competition happened wherein Brasil won. The Top Model of Asia was awarded to the olive-skinned Miss Indonesia who was fierce wearing a caped front cut overlay using Indonesian indigenous fiber (that’s how you modernize artisanal couture).

Meanwhile, Jehza carried her disco queen pantsuit fairly well. She was also such an eye candy wearing that embellished thin-strapped body hugging midnight blue (almost black) gown. She may not have won any special award but I perceive she was among the best.

I also thought before that Jehza’s shortcoming was articulating her ideas in English but after watching her on Episode 9 of Supra Live with Jenny, I believe she can be an engaging conversationalist, notwithstanding that southern Philippine accent. But hey, not many Filipinos are accent neutral anyway. So far so good but can be made better in the finals…hopefully.

  5. Tatak Aces and Queens, “know when to peak”.

Tingnan nyo si Cat, wala ng ingay ang pangalan.

    • Wala ng ingay o selective reading ka lang?

Today lang, pinull-out sya sa smile train event dahil sinama sya sa muay thai ek ek, together with some other selected candidates.

Tapos later today, napili sya together with SA and Colombia for a photoshoot while the rest of the girls will have a temple tour.

      • Exactly! The early publicity payed-off… she’s staying low for now while she’s busy… but when it’s time to glam up again… More people would be waiting for Miss Philippines! 😀

    • Malamang kelangan siya ang peak ngayon dahil prelim show na yan… while kapat lang ng MU arrival and minor activity.

    • Alam mo, ‘yang “know when to peak” na ‘yan parang hindi applicable sa lahat ‘yan kasi hindi naman pare-pareho ng energy levels ang mga tao. Great advice, but practice with caution din.

      • Hay Ath in general people who are pa-bibo/always stealing the spotlight intentionally are annoying. Not only in beauty pageants. I am betting SA will not be Miss Universe if she’s like that (I mean I do not know/have seen videos of her yet).

Some people naman seems always at the peak even without them knowing/exerting any effort (Megan, Rolene, Oxana) Not their fault but that makes the contest boring. While some naman forever nang low tide. So I agree with Shamcey mas kaabang-abang yung hindi mo ineexpect na diamond pala nung unang coal lang.

      • @Alex: Super agree with those 3 you mentioned! Megan and Rolene were just the real deal during their respective years. They were miiiiiiles ahead of their competition. Even during a “down time”, they were clearly out there to win it. Following the MW2014 journey made it seem that everyone else was just battling out for the runners up. I dunno, but for me, Rolene was the sure winner. Boom!

  6. Jehza really is a SBD beauty queen. She knows when to deliver.

Not like some beauty queens who are peak too sooners or pakalat-kalat sa social media tapos wala naman delivery when it matters. Or the abangan eh tapos na yung pageant wala pa rin.

I think she may deliver our best placement since 2013.

  7. So far in the History of BBP, Jehza Huelar is the most proportioned petite girl we’ve had since our Miss International 2005, Lara Quigaman. The former photography model from the province is now to me, a fashion Icon. Our modelesque delegate who has a gr8 backstory to tell also definitely desserves an international crown. 🙂
