  4. Of all the editions of MU, ito lang 2018 ako nakakaranas ng super excitement dahil ni Catriona! Di ako masyado na-excite sa past MU’s kahit pa nung 2016 na dito ginanap sa Manila. Di ko rin masyado nabibigyan ng pansin ang Miss World & Miss Supra which are happening on the same month this year. Iba ang level of excitement ng MU 2018. Can’t wait to witness the performance of Catriona Gray, 24, Philippines!!!

  7. I want her to win so much… Last time I felt this way for our delegate was with Megan Young… and she did not disapoint… I don’t want to pressure Cat but I have higher expectations for her. Kulang nalang e mag surprise visit si President Duterte sa Thailand. I just hope and pray that all the stars in the whole universe would align for her. Catriona Gray is Miss Universe! 🙂

    • I have read somewhere na maaga siya pupunta dun e. like sobrang aga. bago pa ilabas yung pic ng “kahon” nung costume. so feeling ko this is something really big. kasi dun kailangan i assemble e.

      anyway, ang laki niya kasi truck talaga ang pumick up! NAKAKALOKA.

  11. TBH, she really defines what a Beauty Queen should be. she can be MW or MU. her edge talaga is her charity works. hindi niya lang sinimulan because she’s joining a pageant pero bago pa sya sumali, may ginagawa na siya.

    I really hope her stars align on the 17th of December. I know she can win.. but again, if it is for her.. she’ll be Miss Universe. 🙂

      • Sakaling ‘di man siya manalo, I feel na hindi rin siya magsisisi kasi alam niyang ginawa niya ang lahat ng makakaya niya and at her own terms. Diba gusto niyang magkaroon ng ownership ng pageant journey niya. Ito na talaga ‘yon.

        Like MrManila said, I also hope her stars align. Pero sakaling hindi man, di ko talaga bet na may mananalong taga Americas dahil ayaw ko talaga isipin na baka totoo nga talaga ang rotation ng korona. Sana ma dispel ang notion na ‘to! Bongga ang confirmation bias sakaling manalo taga Americas.

        What’s the point of doing Miss Universe kung pina-plano na ang mananalo ay from a certain continent? Edi mag appoint nalang sila! Pagastos-gastos pa. Chos! Kahit 10 Catriona Gray at 20 Pia Wurtzbach pa ‘yan pero kung ang bet ng org ay ibigay sa dilag na galing sa ibang continent, e wala pa rin tayong laban dyan. So yown lang! Sana hindi Americas, huhuhu. Pero bet ko pa rin si USA next to Cat, and then maybe Denmark dahil lakas maka Oxana Federova.

      • Yuh. Of course you have to claim na “I WILL BE MISS UNIVERSE!” kasi di ba, law of attraction, what you law, you attract. CHAROT! hahahahahah pero seryoso. you just have to attract what you really want and if it is really for you, then congrats.

        Some may bash her for being confident or what but for me, it’s part of the journey e. claim claim claim.. but wag lang claim, trabahuhin mo din.

        Lahat ng pageant enthusiast sa pilipinas at pati ung iba sa ibang bansa din, are rootig for her. whatever happens, if hindi man siya palarin, feeling ko okay pa din e. kasi the love and support she’s getting from around the globe is amazing. hindi lang pinoy ang may gusto sakanya.

        di ba nga, sabi niya noon, “AT LEAST SHE TRIED.”

    • Agree. Winning is destiny. Kung para sayo ibibigay ni Lord sayo…hindi gaya ng Mess World…pre determined. Pinapagod lng mga candidates, niloloko lng mga supporters ng girls pero ang ending Julia Morley Cooking Show naman tlg. Sa akin it’s ok if you didnt win if there is really a more deserving candidate who really outshined and delivered!😉
