Miss Universe 2018 Candidates together in Sherri Hill for #NYFW – Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss USA 2018 Sarah Rose Summers.

According to my reliable source in Bangkok, these two ladies are the most popular for the Thais. They are the considered early pre-arrival frontrunners.

  2. Based on the video above, mas lutang talaga ang personality ni Sarah kesa kay Catriona. Natural talaga ang dating ni Sarah compared kay Catriona na rehearsed pakinggan at times. Positive ako na ang highest placement for Catriona would either be 2nd runner up o kaya top 5. Mataas din ang chance na si USA ang manalo this December. What do you think, guys?

  4. I think some are over-analyzing. This may not have impact or anything to do with MU2018. For all we know she’s invited because the designer likes her to model her creations and there’s nothing more to it. BUT for me Cat still has a HUUUGE chance of getting the 4th crown.

  6. Catriona is still the girl to beat. She’s looking more beautiful, relaxed and leaner. Aminin niyo mga bakla. mas payat siya compared sa Mindanao fashion summit stint niya – or maybe the wardrobes are too loose sa measurements.

    Some are saying sana di na lang tinanggap. but tanggapin man niya or not, marami pa rin sasabihin ang mga tao might as well accept the invitation and fulfill one of your dreams.

    Sarah’s personality is ooooooverflowing! Ang dating nilang dalawa sakin is Pia – Olivia tandem. she’s so bubbly and natural. though di ko alam if what happened. her overall look during the fashion show is off. nag mature ang itsura niya, she gained weight. kita naman. but i believe kaya niyang bumawi.

    With Cat, just do what you have to do and we’ll be here cheering for you. dedma sa mga gloria ng buhay mo. CHARENG.

    but seriously, she’s still on top of her game.. but still, they are my top 2 – PH and USA… next is SA..

Miss Universe is a giant marketing campaign for it’s sponsors while the biggest Market is in South East Asia… most of the Countries with the highest population densities in the world are right here and the Philippines is in the center of it all. We have the biggest diaspora among all nationalities and we are still the most active in social-media. Even our teleseryes are even shown as far as South Africa, Europe and Canada…

    This year we are also sending a high-caliber rep who’s more than capable to fulfil all the duties of a MU winner. She can be host who’s fluent w/ the universal language, a multi talented muscician & artist, a versatile international model, a jet-setting social-media influencer, a very active philantrophist and best of all, an ideal spokesperson for all their advocacies.

    Who among the top contenders is at par w/ Cat’s credentials..

    Yes India is pretty w/ good comskills and great credentials but does she have same media mileage as Cat?

    Yes Ms. USA has a pretty face and a vibrant personality but can she be a well-rounded top model?

    Yes South Africa is a model and a med student who’s active w/ her advocacies but can she be a good events host?

    Yes, Ecuador is a beautiful and well experienced in modeling and pageantry but can she be a better international spokesperson than Cat?

    Yes, Spain has all those traits with a good backstory but can she be a model/brand ambassador/spokesperson of all those major sponsors?

    Yes, Great Brittain has all the credentials w/ back story as well as be a good spokesperson of MU org.. but can she be a model/brandambassador to all the major sponsors?

    Yes, Venezuela is a beautiful and well experienced in modeling and pageantry but can she be a better international spokesperson than Cat? Does she have a better philantrophic credentials than Cat?

    Cat may not be totaly perfect which to me is actually her biggest asset because she is highly relatable…
    She is technicaly the total package and so far no other country has sent a girl w/ the same Caliber as her.

  11. Sara may not get past the swimsuit round because of her manly build . She reminds me of Miss USA 2013 .
    She does not have a pleasant beauty either …. lacking that stunning queenly presentation in EG.

    But if she makes it into the final 2 Q&A rounds, kabahan na ang dapat kabahan. She is comparable to MU 1997 from Hawaii and the 2 Olivias..

    My guess is the MUO will not her get past EG just like what they did to the past 2 MIsses USA.

  12. Sarah Rose is like a friend that you’ll have fun to talk with for hours. Her personality is so awesome and engaging that she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with this coming MU 2018. It’s even possible that she’s going to win the crown. She gained some pounds, though. Mostly, in her arms, but that can be addressed with some intense workout and body toning. That won’t be difficult for her. Still, her chances of winning are very high in my opinion. As Gloria would say, “Miss USA is Miss Universe 2018!”

  14. Ako naman ang nasa isip ko. What if kung hinde nalang sana inaccept nila cat ang invitation ng sherri hill ok lang kaya kay sherri hill? Idahilan nya nalang na unfair for other girls so feel nya ang mararamdaman nila. Para ma amaze sila kay cat n mabuti syang tao. With a heart pa din. Maganda din sana yon and i think maiintindihan nila sherri hill yon. Iniisip ko nga baka un ang isa sa challeenge kay catriona pero napasubo sya. Pero since runway model naman si catriona and im sure napansin talaga yon ng sherri hill so thats why kung bat sya ininvite. Isa pa recently lang eh nag walk sya sa mindanao fashion show before ang sherri hill so baka nakita din nila yon thats why.
    Pero d talaga maiwasan ang ibang thinking dahil some thinking is possible. Pero andyan na eh. Tapos na ang show. Naka rampa na sya. But i hope wag basta basta ang team nya. Wag padadala. Rep na natin si cat si MU eh so sana think before say YES! Be careful sana. Hinay hinay. Pero kung padadala at kakagat pa sila. Aba! I maintain nila ang lahat. They need to work harder to show to the universe rather that catriona is stilll the Miss Universe until the coronation night. Nasimulan nilang ipasikat sya so tapusin nila na mag ka crown sya sa Finals night ng Miss Universe.

Kahit pa alam natin na shes a total package eh wapakels basta sikat sya? Basta paborito around the world eh ok lang na i accept ng i accept ang mga invites ng sponsors? Ganun ba? If hinde sponsors ok lang. We waited for this moment na makoronahan sya as MUP and ayaw natin na masayang sya. So what they should do is to be careful and think twice or thrice! One time lang po ang pagsali sa MU iha! We placed in MU na sunod sunod so may pressure pa rin. We need to maintain that. Sa ibang kandidata nga ganyan din kayo makapag isip na kesyo tinotodo ang pasabog eh sinsabi nyo na baka sa finals eh wala ng ibubuga. Etc etc kung ano ano pa.

    • Geoff I think na ge-gets ko yung betsina mong sabihin, but why not tanggapin ung offer, qng tinanggihan abah baka sabhing feeling nmn toh xa n agad ang Miss U para isipin na unfair sa ibang candidates. ininvite xa as model kaya walang ikabahala ung iba, di rin ikinaangat ni Cat un, as for her, dream come true un fo sho! Pde ring tingnan ang side na bet ni SherriHill c Cat kasi matunog, whatever it is, sinasakyan lang ng team ang popularity ni Cat w/c I know wla namang masama dun.   16. Another Miss Universe from the Philippines could have greater media mileage from sponsors than just a RUp…

    In my opinion, Cat is the most desserving candidate upto now… Her nice well-rounded personality on top of her striking beauty are way more than enough to seal the deal that she’s destined for from the very start.

  18. I still believe that Cat has huge advantage over Miss USA after watching the video!!!!I just wished we had the chance to meet up with her while she is here!! But if she wins we do hope that she makes time for her fans!! May Philippine Independence day in June 2019. I really hope she wins!!!

    But my position is unchanged since BBP 2018. Catriona Gray will fare no better than Olivia Jordan. Because given the way things have unfolded, she has done more than enough to ensure vitality leading up to the pageant in Thailand. Her personal brand is so STRONG (that) another dramatic-anticlimactic finish would surely stress the collective “keppy” of the Universe. The smoke the conflagration produces claims even more by suffocation! At sabi nga ni Fabian Reyes, Catriona had the Olivia Jordan peg when she walked that pedestrian lane in New York.

    The Summer Rose will be 1st Runner-up (like Nia Sanchez?).
