Inside the combined function rooms of Ascott Makati all the way to the poolside area, the 50th Mutya ng Pilipinas Press Presentation was held in front of a record number of guests from across all segments of media. The fifty (50) candidates jockeyed up for positions in front of everyone and took to the spotlight to show who will shine better than the rest. Pageant President Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo was overfilled with joy given the high turnout of attendance that she even announced the upcoming release the commemorative book that will detail the history of Mutya ng Pilipinas from 1968 to the present.
