Time now for the fourth pair in our blog series introducing the Official Candidates of Mr & Miss Tourism Philippines 2018. Here we have a good-looking dancer and choreographer from Cagayan Valley and a student/model from the Province of Misamis Oriental.
Meet Jordan Sibbaluca #TheGoldenBrownHunk and Marianne Grace Serenuela #MarianneFaithful
He may not be the tallest among the guys competing for Mr. Hannah’s World Tourism Philippines 2018, but 21 year-old Jordan Sibbaluca of Cagayan Valley makes up for it with his head-turning (exotically) handsome face, smiling eyes, a physique to die for and an engaging personality that screams Fun with a capital F.
“I am a man who always understands others in relationships but the one who always gets left behind (insert a wide grin here). I am proud of my golden brown complexion, and I really love going to the gym and motivate others with my body achievements. I used to be reed-thin as a teenager so that pushed me to bulk up and reinvigorate my self-esteem. Modesty-aside, I am a good dancer, entertainer and choreographer. I can also be a good adviser to the broken-hearted. Maybe that’s why I am very open to other people. At my age, I’ve been through a lot. Inner strength keeps me sane throughout all the trials in life.”
Jordan will prove that he is in the zone to come out on top in the end. And we can’t wait to see what game plan he has to do just that.
Loyal, constant and steadfast – three adjectives that describe Marianne Grace Serenuela of Misamis Oriental Province. She is one gracious lady who takes the challenges in life with a faithful heart as she remains true to the things she prioritizes as an individual – family, self and dreams.
“I’m just gonna start by saying that there’s more to me than what you see on the outside. I’m one living proof that first impressions don’t always last. People tend to judge me by my appearance because I have the “RBF” (Google the meaning if you’re clueless about the acronym). But inspite of the tough face you see on the outside, I’m really soft as a cotton candy on the inside. I cry a lot when I watch cheesy movies and laugh a lot even at the corniest jokes. I’m really a funny girl inside and out.”
“Growing up without a father figure, I need to toughen up for my younger brother. He was often bullied because he is the only guy in the household, and he happens to be ladylike. So whenever he gets into fights at school, I am always the protective big sister.”
Having been chosen as one of the Official Candidates of Mr. and Ms. Hannah’s World Tourism Philippines 2018 is a dream come true for Marianne. She really aspires to compete nationally in order to fulfill her grandmother’s wish of seeing her on the big stage.
