Hot on the heels of Bb. Pilipinas 2018 is Miss Philippines Earth 2018 which has already started to assemble its roster of Official Candidates for this year’s edition. There are a few familiar faces like Noelle Uy-Tuazon, Zarah Bianca Saldua and Jean Nicole de Jesus. The majority, though, are fresh faces in the national level who are taking their big leaps into the big pageant stage. Names like Berjayneth Chee, Liz Mabao, Brazzirie Yanson, Theressa Martinez, Gabrielle Camille Badiang and Naomie White don’t ring a bell yet. But they will soon!
Pre-pageant activities will go into full swing after the Lenten Season all the way to the Finals Night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on May 19.

I think Miss Earth is the pageant that has the best advocacy which is taking care of our environment. It is also the pageant that is looking for a Beauty and Brains on it’s winner. I hope Arienne Calingo join Miss Earth.
as long as above 80 ang contestants ng isang international pageants, matuturing credible pageant parin ito, tanging MU,MW,ME lang halos may national pageants sa ibat ibang bansa, yung iba sinabit lang. lol at wag ka Latin ,Europe,African countries seryoso sila sa Miss Earth siguro sa advocacy talaga may malaking puntos ang pageant na ito.

I really like Miss Earth’s advocacy, but how I wish they would just hand over the Philippine rights to Binibining Pilipinas so we can have better pool of candidates to choose from; although I know this is equivalent to asking for the sun, the moon and the stars.

That’s why I indicated that it’s like asking for the exoplanetary stuff. Lol.
Besides, Venezuela has been successful with having a single national pageant for all the major international ones: 22 Big 4 crowns and the only country to win the Big 4 pageants multiple times. I don’t think it’s about having the pageants separated from one another, but about having a formidable force behind it.

If they’re going to cook the results then at least use a new kitchen. Move the pageant away from the Phils and maybe they’ll gain a bit of credibility.

Personally, I don’t think Karen is ugly, just a victim of terrible hairstyling and overly done veneers. KF should have done something with her airport forehead. Her make-up was horrible during the ME coronation night and her overall styling was off. She looked a thousand times better during the MEP coronation night.
Pero look at her during interviews and other appearances, she looks great naman.

Last year’s winner is the ugliest. Di na nahiya ang mga iskabetcheng sina loraine nashock at pechay veneracion na ipanalo ito sa miss earth. Walang delicadeza at modesty.
Ang kapal naman ng mukha mo bakla laitin si karen. Yes she may not be the prettiest but if you look her performance, pasarela and ofcourse the q and a, She slayed it. anong karapatan mong hamakin at laitin si Karen? Ganda Ka ?

Karen wasn’t the most beautiful in ME 2017 but she’s not lacking in the beauty dépt. Plus she’s witty and charming. She was a deserving winner. Eat your bitter liver out Andrew, you can’t change her destiny no matter how much bitchin you do.

every year, paupgrade ng pa upgrade ang MPE. in all fairness. even ME. sana this year mas okay ang production number, prepageant activities.. pero me feels that kung sino mananalo ngayon will not win the ME title. jusko, kakaloka naman. unless nalang super deserving.. pero hindi pa rin.. highest placement: elemental court. LOL
Good job MPE org for giving us new faces and i hope that the production this year will be excellent as last year from the opening,wardrobes,music etc.
