  1. Konteserang-kontesera talaga si Catriona Gray. professional beauty pageant candidate. Next year, nasa Miss Earth din siya. Wala ba siyang profession or anything na pinagkaka-abalahan?

    • No matter how shapeless her body Catriona will wear one of the crowns, or she’ll be one of the runners up. Ganun lang yun.

  3. Norman was very kind to not include the videos of the other 2 singing candidates what were they thinking ?

  4. I WAS EXPECTING MORE FROM CAT… PERO GIVEN THE VENUE, STAGE, AND OVERALL VIBE LANG HA, SHE DID GREAT. ETO YUNG TINATAWAG NA “PASOK SA BANGA”, PAK GANERN! LOL 😀 SONG CHOICE IS NOT PAGEANT PATTY SO THUMBS UP FOR THAT!!I NOTICED DIN NA SHE HAS THIS PARTICULAR DEEP VOICE FROM THE DIAPHRAGM WHEN SHE SINGS. NICE VIBRATO AND CONTROL DIN, YOU CAN TELL NA BERKLEE GRADUATE TALAGA YAN. ABOUT NAMAN SA TAGALOG NIYA, HINDI KO EXPECT NA MEDYO FLUENT PALA SIYA SA FILIPINO. I MEAN, YUNG IBA NGA BORN AND RAISED DITO NA DEADMA SA TAGALOG LANG. HAHA. ANDDD SURE, MAY AUSSIE ACCENT PERO, PERO, PERO SHE GREW UP ABROAD AND IMPRESSED LANG AKO DAHIL YOU CAN SEE NAMAN NA SHE IS TRYING. NICE WAY YAN TO CONNECT SA MGA MAJORITY NG FILIPINO PEOPLE. SIGURO THAT IS ALL IM GOING TO SAY. HMMM! HA! TIME FLIES TOO, TOO FAST TALAGA! PARANG LAST WEEK LANG YUNG SCREENING NG BBP. TAPOS NGAYON, LOOKING FORWARD SA PRESS PRESENTATION NA AND NATIONAL COSTUME DIN. SOOO EGGSOYTED, MGA TITAHS!! :))

      • She was trying to belt but couldn’t. She should have sang a Nora Jones.

  5. After watching the videos above, and if I were to judge, the winners will be:
    1st no. 14
    2nd no. 8
    3rd no. 20
    4th no. 40

  6. Meow meow and the hand placements at the beginning. She set 🔥 to the 🔥 talaga.

She should answer her Miss Universe interview questions in Tagalog and then translate to English herself for IMPACT like Stefanía Fernandez with her translations.

She sounds like a foreigner because she is a citizen of the world, or Universe, rather.

Besides, language doesn’t make one a Binibini. As they have, if you have the heart to serve, you can be Miss Universe Philippines.

  7. I was hoping to see Aya do a dance number.

She has a positive aura, lalo na kapag nakangiti.

Q: What made you decide to join this year?
A: It’s just that this year I decided to join because … I don’t know. I just felt like, maybe now’s the time… like, I don’t want to regret anything in the future, so why not give it a try?

    • She sounds very feminine
It’s obvious how she tries to avoid ‘dipping’ her mom’s name into the conversation … which is good

    • kulang pa q&a skills..saw her in person during the talent show.. maganda lang kutis pero ung mukha.. ah.. di ko maexplain.. me sonmthing wrong na andami mo mapipintas.. like the turtle eyes.. the crooked nose.. ewan..

    • i was hoping she would do a fortune telling talent.. complete with the crystal ball and colored wig like the quinesssential doppelganger nya.. madam auring..

  8. Iba talagA dating ni Cat kahit kumakanta , pang MU
For me , it’s Cat vs #8 for Miss Talent . I think #8 outsang Cat

    • Ang lakas kayang maka little miss philippines ng performance ni #catganern. every words may hand movements and emote ang face. ano toh monolog; “alms alms alms spare me a pice of bread spare me your mercy”

    • Some of the well-known singers do that like Bruno Mars . So I don’t see anything wrong with that at al … not at all.
Her performance actually looked very professional.. It was not great .. but more than good enough for this purpose.

  9. Ang daming deadma sa Binibining Pilipinas
People were just passing by almost oblivious of what was going on to their right
It goes to show pageants are only populAr to specific groups.

  10. Bb. 20 Cat is a delight to watch. She connected with the audience. Feel na feel niya ang kanta 😉 Good choice of song for her vocal range.

I also liked Bb. 8 Shane Torres. That rich and low voice and the not-so-over-the-top performance was a nice surprise. I like that she complimented the song with that very sexy red outfit.

The one that really stood out for me was Bb. 14 Sam Bernardo’s performance. It’s very unique; it showcased what is Filipino. She’s very graceful and kept her smile all throughout. I was entertained.

    The what-were-they-thinking:
Bb. 19 Michele – Yes, she connected with the audience but where’s her talent? Cute dogs, btw 🙂
Bb. 4 Patrik – Singing Edelweiss with her holding her skirt while dancing looked too cutey patooty and sorry, it made me cringe.
Bb. 36 Loren – She could have picked another song that’s compatible with her vocal range.

    • I agree with your comment on BB36. Masyadong pilit yung performance to the point na makakaramdam ka ng desperation sa kanya. She’s trailing behind na kasi sa ‘awrahan’ during this time kaya siguro ganun yung treatment niya sa ‘talent’ round.

She can carry a tune pero mas pinili niya kasi na mag pageant posture than sing properly.

Anyway I hope na makahabol sya, I actually like her, she is one of the more beautiful candidates this year.

  11. They should be holding auditions for the talent competition . This is Binibining Pilpinas, the top pageant in the country .
Why let crazies perform here? It cheapens the pageant and makes many people think twice about rooting for these girls.
Artajos is out of her mind . She does not deserve a place in the top 15.
And whoever sings the theme from the Sound of Music should not be let into the top 15 as well. My goodness.

  12. My favorite is still Binibini 20 Catriona Gray but my best in talent is #Binibini14 Samantha Mae Bernardo. Her smiling and pleasant personality on her dance and gymnastic performance made me just smile watching her perform. It also made me notice her and put her on my Top picks.

  13. The only “Cat” who can sing is Catriona Gray and yes, she can carry a tune. And I find it cute that she is trying her best to converse in Tagalog – very humble and “makamasa” 😸😹🤗😁❤💗👏 ! Keep it up, girl ! You’re on track for “the” crown 💫

    • Letseng pagta-Tagalog ni Cat yan. Minamarder nya Filipino language. Pwe!

  14. I like that Catriona is trying to speak tagalog…she’s learning para mas maging relatable sya sa mga Pilipino. Naaliw ako kay Samantha. She’s very graceful

    • Trying to speak in broken Tagalog and with that foreign twang is not trying to be relatable. It juxtaposes one higher social class against a lower one. This reflects the social tragedy in the Philippines. When one speaks in broken Tagalog, she is considered cute and “sosyal” and, as in this blog, lavished with praise. When one speaks broken English, she is considered an ignoramus and bashed mercilessly in the social media.

  15. Ang daming Nega na comments! Kayo na lang magproduce ng pageant para you have it your way……. Tsk tsk.

  16. Cat is not the best singer .. I have heard only one other- #8 who I think performed better than Cat.
But her presentation shows she should win MUP .
I just hope she stops speaking in Tagalog . Who is she kidding ? First of all, Pinoy fans Iunderstand English fine.

    • ang nega mo..atleast she’s trying.

      • Tito , how is she relatable when she could barely speak Tagalog?
And how is it different from a Filipino native who tries to speak English ?
Why is it alright to bash someone who tries hard to speak English but fails …and find it cute to hear Cat speak in broken Tagalog?

      • Fabie, that’s the tragedy in the Philippines. When one speaks in broken Tagalog, she is considered cute and “sosyal” and, as in this blog, lavished with praise. When one speaks broken English, she is considered an ignoramus and bashed mercilessly in the social media.

    • At least Cat is trying to learn and speak in Tagalog even though she was born and raised in Australia. She’s only been living in the Philippines for a couple of years. The more she practice speaking it, the better she’ll get. 🙂

    • Volleyball talaga talent niya, everyone knows she plays pro. She just wanted to do something light I guess lol. Para siguro di lang puro volleyball. No room for a net and ball on stage haha.

Go for the Crown Binibini 41! #AllTeaAllShade
