Soon, the Sarimanok will become a significant part of something exciting we are all looking forward to. The legendary bird of the Maranao people could be the theme or inspiration for a masterpiece that should hopefully wow us within the next couple of weeks to come.
For now, just rest easy and continue with the discussion, like in what city will it appear in perhaps? 🙂

This is a good idea after Ruffa Gutierrez, wala pa yatang gumamit ng costume ng Sarimanok.
YONG TALUNANG SI JEWEL MAE LUBATON SARIMANOK YONG NC NYA NONG 1998 MISS U.
Ruffa Gutierez wore a Sarimanok costume at Miss World. The mythical bird is an excellent design inspiration.
Si rachel yan…bagay sa kanya yung Sarimanok…connotes beauty, elegance, and power…fit for a royalty like MU 2017 RACHEL PETERS !!!
National Costume of the next Miss Universe created by Val Tagubal!
It’s gonna be Rachel

hmmm.. kanino kaya? they can all wear a sarimanok inspired. bagay sakanilang tatlo (Kat, Rachel and Chanel)
pero baka kay Rachel? I don’t see her wearing a terno e. ewan ko parang di bagay sa overall look niya. I want her to win a glamazon type costume like Angelee’s.
Sana may ati-atihan and sinulog festival queen type of costumes na in the near future!
I’m excited! While I love ternos, it’s time for Filipinos to utilize our rich mythology and heritage in creating national costumes. Just this year, we’ve had Clenci’s T’boli Princess and Winwyn’s Princess Urduja. I hope this is just the beginning of more diverse costumes for our Filipino delegates.
