  1. Pwede ang analysis na winlalu si winwyn kung gustong maging international global ng RHA, pero i think its too soon! Besides i dont think the span of internationalizing RHA will reach what others think. Its not similar to ordinary pegeants in the sense that its restricted to countries with hispanic heritage only.

My take is, RHA is already successful in expanding its popularity by giving special awards to winwyn thus creating impact in social media and winning the fancy of filipino fans. I think winwyn can go as high as top 5 but the crown still goes to a native from that territory. Someone who looks and speaks like hispanoamericana.

    • So why bother invite the Philippines if she has no chance of winning .. no matter how deserving she is?
I think your assumption is wrong . Remember a Ms Haiti has won the crown before.if Wyn2 loses, it’s not because she is from the Philippines or she does not speak Spanish . The judges and the org decide a different candidate is more deserving

  3. Badtrip naman oh…
Sayang si Nelda Ibe.. Sya talaga ang hula ko maka crown this year eh.

  4. Congratulations, Nelda! 👏 👏 👏 You did us proud! The Philippines 🇵🇭 is on a roll again in international pageantry!

    On a side note…

Is it just me who noticed that Nelda’s gown here is very similar in style and color to Laura Lehmann’s during the Miss World Philipppines finals? Coincidence? The gown is inarguably exquisite and flattering to her figure, but one can’t help but wonder if the aesthetics were somehow plagiarized from Mark Bumgarner’s design. Just thinking out loud.

    • Philippines and Vietnam are styled so similarly but Nelda is certainly the better version. If there was a Q&A round, Nelda definitely would’ve won. Watching how this pageant unfolded, I’m not sure how Vietnam got the crown.

  5. shet kinabahan ako dun! Honestly wished Nelda got the crown but I had a feeling the org was gonna give it to Vietnam! I’m not that mad about it! Vietnam is beautiful naman, I also think crowning Philippines again is too soon!

Im so happy for you Nelda!! Thank you for representing our country the way you did! First runner up is an amazing accomplishment! You maintained the Top 5 streak of our country in this pageant! Mabuhay ka!! ❤

  6. Congrats Nelda Iba – 1st runner up Miss Globe 2017

    Winner is Vietnam.

Kaloka lang wala ng Q&A kasi wala na raw time.

  7. Miss Globe 2017: Vietnam
    First runner-up: Philippines
    Second runner-up: Siberia
    Third runner-up: Albania
    Fourth runner-up: Cabo Verde

CONGRATULATIONS NELDA for a job well done!

  8. If Wyn doesn’t win the crown, she will get 1st runner-up. She’s been so consistent in every aspect of the competition.

  9. Omg chaka Ng gown ni Ibe. Mga baklush talaga what was in your mind? Walang wow factor.

  10. Norman is 100% correct! . Over and above Wyn winning the crown on her own merits, it will be a good business development for the pageantry organisation. RHA has been in existence for 30 years and it is high time for its brand to go global. Coming from halfway across the globe, from the world’s top social-media-using country, Wyn can bring the RHA brand to audiences beyond the Americas. With Wyn’s triumph, the RHA brand can soon reach out to other countries with Spanish or Portuguese heritage in Asia and Africa. Then the brand can evolve by dropping the too-limiting “A” in the “RHA”, just like Miss Asia then which became Miss Asia-Pacific to include the countries in the Pacific side of the Americas.

    • @ scorg : Good morning/evening/afternoon.

Yup. Here in Asia alone, Macau, Japan, Goa, and Timor Leste have been touched by the Portuguese.
