In the meantime, Juliana answered my two questions for this 2nd round of features:
1) A good number of pageant fans have installed you as a potential dark horse for this year’s finals. But still, you cannot do away with the doubters. What can they expect from you within the next few weeks to erase their reservations and become Juliana converts?
“It is actually an honor for me to be considered as a dark horse in this competition considering that I am entirely new in the nationals and not everybody is familiar with me. Somehow, it gives me the inspiration and boost that I need to perform well. Doubters will always be there, but I make sure that I convert their doubts into positive energy. Expect that I will slowly step up in the days to come, making sure that I will peak at the right pace and momentum. I’m focused on everything that I am doing. I have a strong support system that keeps me going. I love what I’m doing. I’m ready.”
2) In just a little over a month from now, a new set of Bb. Pilipinas titleholders will be crowned. Why should you be one of them?
“I should be one of the winners because this is something I worked hard for and put my whole dedication into. I believe that winning the competition is not just about fame but more on responsibility and I’m more than willing to fulfill those. Also, I want to use this as a venue to be able to work and promote on my advocacy which is education in rural areas. Given a chance to win, my victory will be like the people’s victory as well.”
