Rachel grew up in many different countries, which she feels has helped her learn about the world and taught her how to respect and appreciate all the people around her, no matter their color or religion. She absolutely loves to travel, most especially to the beach which is her favorite place in the whole wide world. The sight of palm trees soothes her and so do animals. Rachel is a certified dog lover! (both which are very evident through her Instagram page)
She lives with her younger brother who she considers to be like a brother-ger. He’s always there for her and can’t imagine being in Manila without him. Their parents, however, live in Phuket, Thailand where they grew up. The siblings see them only a few times a year.
I’m so happy to be back in Manila after many years of being away because for so long I lived in countries where I was far from family but now being back here, I get to see all my aunts, uncles and cousins from the Camsur and they’re all very supportive of my quest to win a Binibining Pilipinas crown.. I want to win this to make them all proud!
Before joining, everyone warned me about needing to be physically and mentally strong so that’s what I did. I’ve put in my best effort to be the best version of myself that I can be, and am working on it every single second of everyday.
The goal, of course is to win, but to enjoy the journey, make memories, keep learning about myself and to make lifelong friends along the way. I’m so excited to finally be an official candidate of BBP 2017 and am overwhelmed by all the love and support I’ve been getting… You guys inspire me to give my best effort everyday! So thank you, you know how you are!”
Rachel has her eyes all transfixed on the big prize, or at least one of the titles. Will she be Universe-sent or otherwise?
Let’s talk about your Binibini 19 , dear readers. 🙂
