“Come Miss Universe, I will dedicate myself to appropriately raise the name of my country every day that is in the contest, fight to see if I can bring another crown here, I will work to be the next Miss Universe, I think I’m very prepared.” said Luísa Baptista, Miss Universe Angola for the 65th Miss Universe.
“I leave everything in the hands of my great God and I am sure that He has never forsaken me and will take me to where he wants, because if I win the crown, I will dedicate myself first to him because without him I would not be who I am. To the committees (Cuando Cubango and Miss Angola) from the godmother to the security guards who helped me and made me a daughter, to the Government of my province that at the time was Higino Carneiro, to my friends and all Angolans who always supported my work,” she added.
