Last night, I had the privilege of sitting in the panel of judges which selected the winners of Mister Philippines Calabarzon 2016 at the Lipa City Youth & Cultural Center in Lipa City, Batangas. And among the fifteen (15) candidates who stepped forward to present the best of the region, Joshua Reginald Banatin from Los Baños, Laguna proved to be the best as he defeated all comers in claiming the title and being proclaimed as “The Most Handsome Man in the Calabarzon Region”. He is now automatically seeded into Mister Philippines 2017 which will have its finals come April, 2017.
Coming close is Mister Tourism Calabarzon winner Zyrus Mores of San Pablo City, Laguna who snatched the 2nd title of the night. Their court is made up of 1st Runner-Up AJ Cabrera (also of Los Baños), 2nd Runner-Up Ryan Perez of Candelaria, Quezon, 3rd Runner-Up Ian Cruz of San Juan, Batangas and 4th Runner-Up Richard Flores, also from Candelaria.
The good news here is that, due to the success of the finals, all Top 6 placers will now compete in the nationals for Mister Philippines 2017. Let us all wish them the best of luck!
Thank you to the Mister Philippines Calabarzon organizers who invited me to be part of the big regional event, and to the Officers of the bigger Mister Philippines who encouraged me to further my coverage of the national selection. 🙂
hmm i have to agree these male pageants in RP should level up with our neighbors especially indonesia. yes we have better looking men but geeze WTF their physiques need more months or even years in the gym!
tinalo pa ang bb pilipinas sa contour nitong mga dilag na to
Takot yata sa gym ang mga hombres.
Ba yan, yung mga sumasali sa male pageants sana naman magpaganda muna ng katawan bago magpa rehistro.
