I have been asked this question a thousand times. And starting December 20, the race is on to make an online purchase of what is left of the remaining VIP tickets via Ticketnet. The price is definitely not wallet-friendly as one of those much-yearned good seats inside the SM Mall of Asia Arena will set you back US$1,000.00 (or roughly PhP50,000.00). But I don’t see that as an issue for the eager buyers as they have either saved enough for one precious pass or can easily afford to get hold of one.
Here is a quote from Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo during the Press Conference held yesterday:
“The sales of the ticket will start on December 20. The tickets will be more or less $1000, or about P50,000. That’s for the VIP. For the general admission, it will probably be around $160, more or less, or about P8,000. That’s the cheapest,” Teo said at a press conference.
Tickets will be available via TicketNet, Teo added.
“Book and buy ‘yan. Once you book, you have to buy right away. There will be no reservations,” she said.
So it is definite. US$160 to US1,000.00. December 20 via Ticketnet. Get your fingers and stable internet connection ready because the purchases will come so fast that a simple wink is all you need to lose the chance to have one. Best of luck!
