  1. Kian’s physique pales in comparison to his competitors aside from being among the least in height. I may be mistaken, but it seems that there is no noticeable improvement since he won as Gentleman Of The Philippines. Didn’t he have ample time to hit the gym and bulk up before his international competition? Sadly I’m not betting on him having a placement even with such a small group unless it’s a home court decision.

    • I think he improved.. I’m just bothered with the height.. Puro pandak mga winner ng batch ni Andrea pansin ko lang ha.

  2. Drats! I had to leave for a dinner date and missed Catriona’s performance.

Anyways, here are the Miss World 2016 Talent Competition Finalists:

    Miss Latvia: Dancer
    Miss Mongolia: Magician
    Miss Chile: Violinist
    Miss Croatia: Singer
    Miss Malta: Dancer
    Miss Philippines: Singer
    Miss Ukraine: Pianist & Dancer
    Miss Canada: Pianist
The public will vote on who performs on stage for Miss World 2016, and ultimately, who will be our talent champion!
*More details on how to vote tomorrow*

Sir Norms: can you please do an article on this, so people can be on the lookout on how to vote for Catriona? Thanks!

    • She’s a pianist, BWAP and multi-media contender… I think she’ll make it to the Top 8 along with Philippines, Mexico, India, USA, China, Venezuela and maybe even Indonesia, Hungary or Slovakia…

    • @ luiskie : Good evening//afternoon/morning.

There will be a Gay Pride event in Spain next year. The MGW 2017 pageant will be one of the highlights.

And if I understood correctly and National Director Mr. Wilbert Tolentino finally gives his thumbs up, Bench Ortiz and Khalil Vera-Cruz will compete in 2018 and 2019, respectively. So, Filipinas already has reps for the next three years.

      • Thnx andrew for that info. But i disagree sa 2 as our reps for 2018 & 2019. There are other gays out there that can give a good fight for int’l pageant. Pero gusto nilang magtipid (MGWPO), so i couldn’t agree more

  3. Miss World 2016 : Michelle Obama In Talks to Be a Judge
    by Pageanthology 101 Sunday, December 04, 2016

Earlier today, sources told Pageanthology 101 that Miss World producers included First Lady Michelle Obama on a list of possible Miss World judges. Other notable name rumored to judge the pageant included is Philippines’ very own Megan Young.

Michelle Obama’s , the wife of US President Barrack Obama, last day as first lady will be January 20, 2017. Michelle, first African-American First Lady, has become a fashion icon, a role model for women, and an advocate for poverty awareness, nutrition, physical activity, and healthy eating.

Miss World 2016 will be held on 18th December 2016 at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States just south of Washington, D.C. 119 contestants from all over the world will compete for the blue crown.

Well I hope she says “yes”.

    • Si Ateng Jeremi ba itetch and her sisterettes?

dahil sa pageant devotion and fanaticism. Hala ka

  4. 13 delegates? Just 13?

Philippines should have Mr. Mindanao, just like having
Hawaii and the USA in Mr. Supranational.

Not a whole wide to choose from, I must say.

  5. Road trip to Vigan City from Manila? Wow! And they all started quite early this morning, if not late last night. This will be the first test of endurance for the candidates. Anyone who pukes is OUT. LOL.

Would have been more comfortable / less strenuous to take the Manila – Laoag flight, then motor on down to Ilocos Sur. I can imagine the traffic at San Fernando City in La Union, unless they took the bypass road. I am assuming there are available flights at the times in question. But anyway…

M Ryan Ramadan of Indonesia does not stand out in candid shots, though he certainly looked potentially threatening in his editorials. Same with Sanju Ray of India. We’ll see how they fare.

Myanmar is EYE CANDY. He knows how to project himself; this could be attributed to his status as a show business celebrity back in his home Myanmar.

Brazilian here (Tieze Emiliano) and the Brazilian at MUA 2016 (Marcello Pilotti) could have been separated at birth. LOL.

And THAT’s Andrea Biondo welcoming the delegates in the second to the last photo. He is really fulfilling his responsibilities as “Universal Ambassador”.

    • I’m proud of Andrea doing his ambassadorial duties. But what’s with those sordidly tattered jeans with boxer shorts showing underneath which he has been wearing quite frequently to GCI events? Very inappropriate and distracting if I may say so. Paging his stylist and/or manager. Or maybe you can tell Andrea yourself, Tito Norms?

  6. IMHO Brazil, Myanmar and Thailand are clear frontrunners and easily stand out. The caliber of contestants is high albeit a small group. I will be happy if Kian makes at least the first cut.
