3rd Runner-Up is Nichole’s Official Placement
The photos is this blog post signify that Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo is the official 3rd Runner-Up of The Miss Globe 2016.
I know what your next question will be, dear readers. Why was the placement unannounced during the live finals that denied our Queen the special moment of being photographed alongside with the winners? Well, I wish I could give you a statement from the organizers. All I have are these images of Nichole with the 3rd Runner-Up crown. These were taken after the finals during a private moment during post-coronation when the organizers from Deliart Association made the informal crowning of two more runners-up. Nichole is now on her way back to the Philippines. At least we know what her final ranking is now, and with a 3rd Runner-Up crown to prove the claim.

Okay. Congrats Nichole. at least hindi siya na ichapwera kahit papaano. at least she’s a runner up rather than just plain top 10. you guys know what I mean, right?
Some concerns lang
1. It was originally planned that there will be top 5. meaning 1 winner, 4 runner ups. let’s just say it was an honest mstake na hindi matawag ang 3rd and 4th. BUT..
– baket after 2 day lang uli bago icrown? bakit hindi right after the event or kinabukasan mismo?
– There’s a crown yes, ASAN ANG SASH? ano ung sinasabi na.. sunday kasi ngayon dito keme keme.. di ba kung meron talaga dapat on hand na ung sash?
2. Sa reasoning ni ateng Mia sa fb, parang pinabayaan na nila si Albania, kung ano ang dapat gagawin sa pageant. Akin lang, sana niretain pa rin nila yung format.. tas bahala na si albania. para consistent kasi.
3. Were they ‘pressured’ to ‘acknowledge’ Nichole because of the backslash na nakuha nila from pageant fans? I mean, oo na, we can’t always cry na nadaya, naluto or fraud ang pageant kapag di tayo nananalo. pero we have to give credit talaga to Nichole, we all know she deserves a higher placement.
4. possible kaya na si South Africa ang nanalo then PH ang 1st Runner up? na jumble na lang sa position? I understand if Nichole was 1RU kasi for sure, di nila afford mag back-to-back
5. Ang reasoning nila sa FB page ay…… sobrang babaw mga beshi! nakakaloka. natakot na lang ba sila na baka mag pull ou ang BPCI kaya biglang ganito ang ginawa nila? I’ll be more than happy if i drop na to ni madam. Let’s just give out MUP, MI, MS, MIntercon, MGI, and 2 runner ups. hindi kasi consistent e. every year, iba ang format, iba ang kaganapan.
IF ever ida-drop na ito ni BPCI ( sana ! lol ) no need to get a new franchise. Just retain the MUP MI MIntercon MS and MGI tas 2 runner ups. masyado silang marami. LOL I think Intercon, Supra and MGI are well established pageant naman.
Anyway, I feel so sad for Nichole, she deserves her ‘moment’ but nonetheless, she will not come home empty handed after all, right?

I think for delicadeza, Miss India should relinquish her crown because she is OVERAGE already. This would have improved Nichole’s placement, from 3rd runner up to 2nd runner up.
Okay. On nichole 3rd runner up placement and being crowned 2 days after the pageant. Accept ko na b4 na top 10 lang napasok nya. What more now is 3rd place sya sa top 5. So its good news pa rin. Even sabotage or not. Lets be happy nalang and move on at least 3 na sa binibini natin this year ang nakapasok sa top 5. 2 runner ups and 1 winner. Stop hatin na. We need pa pamswerte sa next pageants okay? But i do agree na alisin na talaga ang super minor pageants na wala naman yatang advocacy. Not being unsporty. Big reasons. Nasasayang ang iba sa wasted pageant. Kahit nanalo naman its okay pa rin talaga na dun sila sa ipadala sa mas worth na pageant. Mas exciting na laban. Second reason is for budget. Hinde na nga mapalitan ang crown ng MU at MI nag dadagdag pa sila ng franchise. Every year may tagumpay ang bbp runner ups at title. Sana naman mag focus ang bbp sa crown at camps na bahala sa pasabog na isasabak nilang kandidata para hinde sayang ang effort ng bbp sa crown. Wardrobes and other expenses para sa preparation for pageant internationally.
Pero. Kung ang runner up ang ipapadala sa minor pageants. Parang ganun din diba? Kahit runner up sila They still represented din internationally eh. Kaibahan lang is they will name as runner up and not as minor pageant titles.
Mas maganda alisin nalang talaga ang ibang title. The runner ups are just reserved in case the winner cant compete. And sana ang runner ups deserving din at under training pa rin para in case d makakacompete si winner. May aasahan tayo kila runner ups.
Better to give this franchise to others. Magkaroon ng sarileng pageant bawat isa. Or ibigay nalang ni SMA sa mutya ng Pilipinas kung gustuhin.
Since mukang narinig ng bbp ang hinaing natin sa gown. So i think we need to make some noise again sa bbp. They will appreciate it. Pag iisipan ng mabuti.
Kung walang mag pa franchise
Disadvantage. Lalo na sa intercon. May chance na ang ibang asya. Lalo na ang thailand at indonesia.

Wala na akong masabi isipin mo babaguhin lahat ng requirements noong natapos na ang palabas. Paano makalimutan ng Emcee na sabihin yung 3rd and 4th runner-up. Sa pagkaka-alam ko ang Emcee ay may pag-ensayo bago sumabak sa araw ng patimpalak. Buti pa sa Miss Universe kahit nagkamali yung Emcee bumalik siya at itinama ang mali. Samantala sa Miss Globe natataranta sila pero natapos na yung palabas. Tapos papalitan nila ang age requirement sa bandang huli. Ano sa susunod pati nagparetoke puwede ng sumali. Diyos ko papaano bigyan ang galang ng organization na ito kung wala silang respeto sa mga sumali sa patimpalak. Baka sa isang araw baka biglang mag-iba ihip ng hangin at si Miss Thailand na ang ilulokluk na mananalo dahil isang gurang na yung pinili nilang nanalo.
I agree with all your points except sa retokada part. Pwede ang retokada sa Miss Globe. Some Filipinos should quit that 1940s thinking na dapat natural ang girls sa pageants. Kasi kahit nga tayo nagpapadala ng retokada and karamihan sa kanila nagplace/nanalo abroad.

Sana may natutunan ang BPCI lalo na si SMA sa pagpatol sa mga low tier pageants. Irelegate na lang kasi sa mga runners up ang mga tiangge pageants na ‘to for experience lang para pwede pa uli silang sumali sa next BBP edition pag hindi pinalad sa tiangge pageants. Tama ang karamihan dito, napakadami na nating sinayang na mga kandidata na pwede sanang isabak sa MU, MI at MW ngunit di na nabigyan ng pagkakataon dahil nabigyan na ng koronang pangtiangge lamang. Tito Norman, valid naman siguro ‘tong mga suggestions namin. Pwede po bang iparating nyo ito sa BPCI at kay SMA?
E di dagdagan na lang ng BbP ang mga ilalaban nila sa MU at MI. Bukod sa Miss Philippines, padala din sila ng Miss Luzon, Miss Visayas at Miss Mindanao para hindi sayang yang mga top caliber na sinasabi nyo!
Di ba meron Miss Macao, Miss Taiwan at Miss Hongkong na pareparehong China. Hihihi

Kung nagkataon pala na nacrown si Pia at Kylie nito na parehong 2 or 3timer sa Bb. eh waley pala sana tayong new Miss U and Miss I?

On one hand, having 6 ‘winners’ is a positive note padede. The reps would travel abroad to represent the country and all the memories made that go with it.
On the other hand, the constant “controversial” results from Intercontinental, Grand International and now Globe is really really annoying.
The BbP reps should not be subjected to such unprofessional and feeble productions.

I also believe na ayaw lang nilang mag back to back kasi new pageant.. or sadyang sinabotahe lang talaga ni nawat. if ever man lang na ayaw nilang manalo si nichole.. well make it justified, ipakita nila kung san magaling si miss india, pagkaka alam waley naman siya, nahalata ko na talaga na ayaw nilang manalo si nichole kasi binigay na nila iyong Dream Girl chuva sa kanya tapos inexplain pa ng todo-todo itong special award na ito. hahahaha na kesyo most beautiful that everyone would admire and would wanna look like her and kuno voted by the contestants. lols iyon naman pala eh.. bakit iba nananalo.. at feeling ko.. ayaw nila ng Q&A kasi wala silang interpreter.. madali lang i connect the dots ang mga pangyayaring ito.. hindi lang si nawat marunong nito.. hahaha
