There is a seven-hour difference between Manila, Philippines and Tirana, Albania. So if the finals of The Miss Globe 2016 will start at around 7pm-ish over there, then that would be around 2am of Saturday (November 26) here. Today is the date when we shall all find out who the successor of Ann Colis will be and if Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo has made strong enough strides to walk away with the crown that will bring her dreams of a back-to-back win to a most meaningful realization.

I know that our bet is one of the more highly-regarded candidates in this year’s batch. And even if one pageant follower will check the roster only for the first time, it would be hard to ignore the beauty and presence of Nichole in the competition. She stands out without a doubt. So if the Albanian organizers do not mind giving the 2016 crown to another Filipina, then I don’t see any reason for missing the victory (or coming very very close to it at worst).

    How is this possible?
    What a joke!
    If true, I hope he remembers that the Philippines is hosting MU.
    I dont want to sound vengeful…but I’m just saying…

    • 1 – Nawat doesn’t own the MUT franchise.
      2 – I doubt the host country has a lot of say in the judging of Miss Universe. It is a pageant with integrity after all.

      Kung gusto mong maggisa ng putahe, ang pinakamainam ay yung patimpalak sa mundo. Tandaan, yung national director ng mga kumakahol naging hurado noong nakaraang taon. Pwede pala yun? Kita mo naman kung saan umabot ang alaga niya.

  10. Habang papalapit na Miss Supra mas grumagrabe na smear campaign ng mga Indonesians. Just today nag spike up pageant activity sa IG after Mark Bumgarner made patola sa isang Indonesian pageant account insisting he copied a Thai rep’s gown.

  11. Fight lang ng fight. Parang dinadaan nalang ni Nichole sa aura pero parang hindi sya pinag handaan ng husto either ng camp nya or ng BPCI. She was leading sa voting until the Thais asked help from the Indonesians. The Colombian might win (ok lang naman din kase maganda and mukang mabait naman. Di bale magpupuyat pa rin ako (kami, tayo) para suportahan sya mamaya.

    • Lai I feel bad for Nichole. How come she had to wear a baul dress for prelims? Doesn’t she have a designer assigned to work with her?

    • Mae and 4M – imagine nung BBP she wore an Almodal. Now, alaga sya ni Kim Gan. Gets ko yung sponsored clothes wala tayo magagawa dun. Pero her baul (or variation of Parul’s) gown and her nice just nice natcos was not what I expected for a Nichole Manalo. Parang ang haphazard ng pag prepare ng wardrobe nya. I want her to do so well kase feeling ko aping api sya nung pinag bintangan sya na nagpa disqualify kay kim and aping api sya na na overhaul fez nya.

      • I didn’t even consider those things. But yea I feel like BbP gave her the Globe title as consolation but how come KF did not even try to get someone to work with her? Does that mean the Almodal really is rebelling against BbP? That would be pathetic. I don’t mind the blue dress but I hope BbP treats each queen equally important (despite the weights of the pageant).

        last week may friend ako na nag message sakin pasekreto kase baka may maka kf sa group chat namin ma hurt. sabi nya yung dalawang kf girls hindi pinayagan ni madame mag bongga na wardrobe kase ayaw pa rin nya yung puslit gown issue na ginawa nila janicel. sabi ko ayoko muna maniwala kase si joanna mukang ok naman dalang damit sa poland. now i can’t help but think kinawawa si nichole from her natcos na hindi nayari on time to her prelims gown. ang hindi lang nag a-add up sakin is yung influence ng clan nya in making sure she gets t

      • Madam Laila, now I’m thinking…if ever di pa nakakalimutan ni Madam/BPCI ang puslitan ng gown last year at pinag-baul gown si Nichole…is there a possibility na puslit yung Bumgarner ni Joanna? To think na unlike the A&Q queens na na-press release ang designers eh tikom ang bibig sa KF queens. I would feel bad kung yung co-KF camp queen ko pinayagan mag designer gown tapos ako Cumbia couture lang.

        Siguro the Manalos didn’t insist on getting a designer gown/wardrobe for Nichole in respect na lang kay Madam if ever nga na hindi pa nya forget ang puslitan last year. Alam naman nating kayang kaya nila gastusan si Nichole but maybe they chose it a better move to be obedient and not to ruffle SMA’s feathers to remain in her good graces.

      • Pwede rin. Baka may next batch of Manalo kids sila na gino-groom.
        Pero kung ako huling Manalo sister na sasabak…aba…galit galit na tayo nasa Albania na ako. Korona na to! Nung send off mana mukhang ok naman wardrobe discussin nila with Joanna telling everyone na very hands on si madame kaya naguguluhan ako kung totoo.

      • I don’t know I dont think Madame holds that much grudge I mean she already opened the doors for National Costume and to let Filipino designers to dress our girls but to sabotage Nichole who has one of the better chances of getting back to back is completely selfish on SMA’s part. I don’t think she would do it. Well I just hope she gets a better gown designer or baul come finals time.

    • May potential yan. Kailangan muna syang pag aralin. Im sure mag sisikap yang mag aral. Tignan mo nalamg sa pagupo nya oh. Kung aalagan ng tama yan. For sure may korona yan. Il hope na tuungan sya ng aces and Queens na pag aralin. Im sure jonas is kind and have a beautifull heart.

    • She’s tiny but she has the potential to become a future lead actress.. following the footsteps of Nora Aunor… She looks very promising.

  15. The gown she wore for the prelims was the blue gown Parul wore during the MGI’s prelims. hahaha nakakaloka. pero okay lang that gown is kinda acceptable naman. sana meron pa siyang isusuot na iba!

Base sa screenshot na nakapost. Base sa convo she is asking for help from her friend. Kung totoo man. Its a fraud i think.

    At sa kabilang banda,Global Beauties nag release na prediction sa Miss Supra.At wala si Joanna sa top 25 after ng prelim.Guys,GB ito.At yung may ari ng site ay COO ng Supra.At for the past years,halos 90% ay tama ang prediction.

    • Actually, magkaiba ang may-ari ng GB at ang WBO na organizer ng Supra. Kalaban ng Misso ka pageant site yang GB at dati pa silang ayaw sa Philippines.

    • Wag na kayong pumunta sa website nila. Ayaw nila sa Pinoy, pero galing sa Pilipinas ang pinakamalaking % ng visitors nila. Ibig sabihin, kumikita sila sa views ng mga Pinoy. Kung walang pupuntang Pinoy dun, bawas kita rin sa kanila.

And while im watching FB live ng prelim habang nagsasalita ung director i saw a guy at her back parang si Mr Nawatt hahaha. Kamuka nya. Im not sure. Check nyo guys.

Ngapala, nag-tag team na daw ang mga Santol at Azucena sa pagvote para dun sa rep ng mga santol kaya nakahabol sa online voting ng Miss Globe…nakakatawa na lang na kailangan nilang magtulungan para maungusan ang rep natin. Medyo nakakalungkot din na kahit tayo ang pinaka successful sa pageantry within our region, neighbors gang up on us dahil na rin siguro sa inggit at insecurity nila…and it doesnt help na marami ding may kayabangang pinoy fans.

    • Narinig ko sa FB Live ng Miss Globe na special award lang daw yang votes. Walang actual bearing sa competition. Sige lang.

    • Ay naunahan mo ko bes haha. Yeah youre right. Its Parul sha gown during MGI and Pias gown during photoshoot last MU. Hinde yata cumbia pero galing sa baul hahaha.
      I think the top 10 will battle in SS and EG made by albanian designer to determine the top 5.
