Yes, I am primarily greeting my friends and loved ones in the USA a Happy Thanksgiving Day. But more than that, the mere word that describes the celebration is positive mode that everyone should get into more often than just an annual event.
There is always a lot to be thankful for. Inspite of problems that weigh us down from time to time, the blessings coming our way (could be few and far between for some) should never be overlooked.
More than winning crowns in pageantry and being grateful for the same, it is more important to give thanks to what we, as unique individuals, get as rewards – both material and otherwise. It could be good health, a stable job, a mutually beneficial relationship or just having the treasure of sincere and unconditionally-loving friends to lean on – always dig deep, look back and give out your brightest smile and say, “Thank You!”
And so, going back to my friends in the US, here is a delightful wish that you may have already read (and wished upon) many times over in the past.
“May your stuffing be tasty. May your turkey plump, May your potatoes and gravy. Have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious, And your pies take the prize, And may your Thanksgiving dinner stay off your thighs!”
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ONE AND ALL! 😀
