Luke is a born performer who has done quite a lot in his professional life so far. But read the prepared 411 on him so you will get a better idea of what he’s been doing Down Under ever since.
Luke would like to thank everyone who has supported him on his journey so far, including Choy Libres Symes who has done a wonderful job managing him in the competition.
Before pursuing a career in the arts, Luke played high level representative rugby union and cricket. Since graduating, he has performed internationally in Patrick Marber’s After Miss Julie in Dublin, Ireland, and recently returned from Cambodia where he played the lead in a short film due for festival release in the New Year.
In Australia, Luke has worked teaching secondary students in Shakespeare Seminars, performing in independent theatre, film, and professional productions. He has stage- and production-managed a series of events, operas, community events, and the largest short play festival in the world. He has also modelled for publications and brands internationally, including Mr World Australia Finals (2014) and as Mr Tourism Australia (2016).
Luke is honoured to be selected in his first major pageant as the Australian representative for Mr Tourism World and looks forward to meeting the representatives for the other countries in the Philippines.
Good luck in your first international male pageant, Luke Middlebrook!
