  1. I dont care kung bakit labster dress ang suot nya. Nanalo na sya. She is now Miss International. The thriller on MI 2016 pageant has end.
Na eexcite ako sa MW specially sa MU. Urgggg. 2 months nalang pero parang ang tagal tagal pa. Cant wait. Nakakaloka tong pageant na to!!! Sobra!!! Bukas may super full moon. What it may brings kaya? Any one know about that supermoon? All i know is every 70 years nag aappear ang supermoon.

  2. P.S.

Despite the mixed reviews it received, I prefer Mr. Noel Crisostomo’s crustacean confection to the horrendous green terno Mr. Albert Andrada had the reigning Miss Universe wear when she met with the President and met her adoring masses on her homecoming.

    • Andrew , the pink dress looked good on Kylie . It’s just the idea of a crab on her crotch that set a lot of people off . Shouldn’t it be on the trunk or lower leg area at least?

  3. Niresearch ko yang Lobster na yan…. Anti-bourgeois pala meaning nyan nung sinuot ni Wallis Simpson yung gown na designed by Elsa Schiaparelli… Elsa is know for her quirky designs, from animal drawings upto hats made of gloves.. I guess Noel Crisostomo knows about this info because he is known in the Philippine fashion industry as the”Master Story-teller”… As in lahat ng design nya e may mahabang kahulugan… In short, nakikipeg sya kina Alexander McQueen and Viviene Westwood na political inspired or themed ang mga collections. Ang tanong.. alam ba ni Kylie kung ano ang meaning ng pinagsusuot nya or nakiki-uso lang?

    • I think so. Nagtanong yan kay crisostomo ibarra. Lol. Bago isuot. Or she knew a little about labster or this labster dress.

  4. Oh Kylie always had the best shot among all the BBP queens this year. Many of us even thought that she even deserved the MUP crown…

But yes UGLY LOBSTER GOWN! the fuck! But okay the designer wanted an explosion so he succeeded 🙂

  5. the gown not only showcased the versatility of the lobster, but above all accentuate her flat chest..just like her co-winner maxine..me thinks flat-chested should stay in the runway, away from the pageant stage..

    • Honey , Kylie won a top 4 international pageant with a flat chest. Ms Bahamas won Bedt in Swimduit at Miss Grand International 2016. Many if not most supermodels are flat chested.
So your advice is flawed. Yes they can join beauty pageants or modeling .. and succeed even with a flat front

  6. Regardless of what her detractors had to say, Kylie will always be a Miss International and she rightfully deserved the title. Kylie Verzosa, 2016 Miss International ♥♥♥ 🙂

  7. Congratulations Kylie. Once again another winner that is a True Pinay Beauty.
Your speech was the best and based on best practice combined with genuine warmth and regal delivery.

It was a tough competition with Poland, Mexico and Venezuela, real beauties. But nothing can stand agains Filipinos charm, wit and uniquely Malay beauty. Mabuhay Ka kababayan!

  9. Wow, 6 articles on Kylie’s homecoming ! I’m sure there’s more to come. Baby Nica will feast on the scarcity of comments as they are spread among these six entries

  10. Si Kylie ay iyong beauty queen na you can’t imagine nor fathom na pang – runners-up lang. Siguro sa Binibini pwede pa dahil stiffer talaga ang competition pero kapag nasa international arena na, ibang usapan iyon. Obviously pagka-korona kay Kylie for Binibining Pilipinas – International, the crown was already reserved and her chances were secured because she was Edymar’s favorite so I dunno the hanash of her win as a surprise.

    • And if im not mistaken, Kylie was even congratulated by Miss International Org, thru their soc media account after she won BBP-International. Parang after that, sealed na ang crown for her. Hahaha

    • Be thankfull instead. Coz b4 they planned na ampalaya ang ilagay. Pero inisip kayo ng designer. Baka matamaan kayo at mainis lalo. kaya lobster nalang. With labs pa from kylie.

  11. I know Indonesia prob had the best speech. Other than that , I do not understand why she placed very high in the competition considering she was not at par with the rest of the finalists in terms beauty . She seemed smart though and very down to earth.

I’m happy she made top 3 . However , i still wonder why everyone was nervous for Kylie beck of her

    • The best speech? I disagree. The only reason why I remember that speech at all was because she referenced Megan’s winning speech. Kylie’s use of the rule of three was more impactful and memorable. If ever there was a time that a winner was decided, it was after that speech.

    • @ Fabian Reyes : Good afternoon/evening/morning.

Sorry for my intrusion. Anyway, regarding Ms. Hwang, I only found out recently that she is half-Korean half-Indonesian. With her surname, I always assumed she was Chinese-Indonesian….

      • @andrew: no need to excuse yourself. I guess Hwang is a Koreanized Chinese name

    • Yeah we can say that her speech is also the best. But her speech is already said by our one and only meagan young. I dont know if MIO already know that about meagans speech. But i know mas nag ano sa puso at isip nila ang speech ni kylie. Very timely and realistic.
Nakakainis lang talaga sila kapag sobrang bitter. Kapag hinde sport. Nagagawa nila mag throw ng masamang salita. Maka ugly wagas na wagas. Mas malake ang porsyento sa kanila ung sobrang bitter/insecure in terms of pageant compare sa pinoy fans. Ang hirap nila kausap. Dapat si felice daw nanalo. Jusme kailangan muna talunin si australia bago si kylie.

      • Really ? I have to watch and compare. felicia’s delivery was just so calm and believable , not like Ariska’s . You can just tell that Felicia is smart responsible and very down to earth .
Kylie’s was almost as good — short sweet clear and to the point . And her voice Was so beautiful you could not help but be mesmerized.

    • Felice’s speech was delivered well, but hardly the best. It paled in comparison to Kylie’s. Kylie’s speech was similar to Pia’s – she was able to illuminate the points MI stood for without sounding like she copied speeches/answers from previous queens who won in other pageants. Kylie is a better speaker, even post-win kitang-kita sa mga IG posts rin eh.

Indonesians and Thais can copy the gist of Filipino winning formula, maybe even send more conventionally beautiful candidates than us, pero kung sa actual substance lang ng Q and A at “regal” vibe, medyo malayo pa sila. That’s hard to replicate talaga; we’ve always had that since our country got our first Miss U back in 1969.

  12. I never doubted her chances of being in the top 5 the moment she left for Japan. I must admit though na kinabahan din ako after na tawagin lahat ng runners up. Kylie is really fit for the MI crown.
