Below is Alaiza’s personal account of the whole challenge:
Back in the Philippines! Sorry I was gone for quite a bit. No social media in China. 😂
Elite Model look. Hmmmm. Well, it wasn’t really what I expected it to be. 😂 It was a completely different experience but I learned a lot from it. I even got better with sign language cause most of the participants are Chinese and couldn’t speak English. I had to do some weird actions to be able to communicate! Pak! #MasterOfCharades na ako! 😂 haha but srsly, The Elite Model Look Asia was more of like a boot camp for models. Which I think is even better cause I gained a new perspective about modeling. It was real modeling where we have to go to castings and do different walk depending on what the designer wants. Also, I gained new friends (by the way, in this pic is the Non-China or Asia Pacific team) and I get to travel for free! Overall, it was a great experience! Being a part of competition, gives me an opportunity to challenge all aspects of me as a human being. It allows me to connect to other people and learn from each other. It keeps me growing. 🤘🏾I’m grateful for this opportunity cause this experience is relevant to my road map. I’m building up my character for a future battle… I may not have won any from this competition, but I trust in God’s perfect timing! 😉 I always do! All the Glory to him! #Lokalokal #Superblessed
P.S. I recommend this competition to someone who is younger than 20 years old, over 175cm, fair skin and with chinky eyes. 😊
I’m wondering what that future battle Alaiza is preparing herself for. A return to the pageant scene? Why not?
