Alaiza Malinao for Elite Model Look Asia Pacific 2016

Alaiza Malinao has gone beyond Asia’s Next Top Model and is now gunning for the bigger model search in the region – Elite Model Look Asia-Pacific 2016. And with the backing of some important names in the industry (including the very familiar Ines Ligron), she could be in good hands for this tough competition where the winners will be guaranteed with attractive modeling contracts in Asia-Pacific and even beyond depending on the breaks that will come their way.

Will Alaiza find her true place under the sun here? I certainly hope so because she really wants to do good in this one. Aside from being the Philippine entry, she will have her future locked and sealed in bright hues and hefty contracts if she wins the big one.

  2. I have been a fan of Alaiza ! I guess she’s now taking a different path after her BBP stint. Hope she joins BBP again if and when this Elite gig does not work in her favor. Good luck Alaiza 🙂

  6. Uh oh… 22 or 23 is A TAD TOO OLD. Elite would certainly want someone younger to begin with, perhaps 17 to 19. And her previous work with Asia’s Next Top Model may work against her; because
    any model scout anywhere wants a fresh face, the bragging rights to claim to have “discovered her”.

    The Asian model market is quite tight. Had she sent her Book directly to the West the way Charo Ronquillo, Anna Danica Magpantay, Charlene Almarvez, Rocky Salumbides, Paolo Roldan, and (the Eternal!) Anna Bayle did, she could have avoided the trouble of competing.

    This is the domain of China and Korea, and you find their quirky-looking youth (both female and male) represented by practically all of the world’s most prestigious agencies. But good luck to her!

    • relatively young pa naman si alaiza…22 or 23 ata…may chance pang sumali uli…hindi pa naman sure na mag win siya sa contest na itey. lalo pa at umaaligid si ines ligron.
