It was an experience I will cherish for the longest time. Being part of Niyogyugan Festival 2016 offered me the chance to engage in something less pageant-related for a change. And I truly welcomed the experience. Sure, I was able to watch and cover Bb. Niyogyugan 2016, but it was the opportunity to judge the agricultural booths, the street dance parade and the dance showdown competitions that gave me the refreshing opportunity to immerse myself into the colors and culture of the Province of Quezon. To taste the food, be the recipient of all-around hospitality and to experience the festive dance atmosphere of all the municipalities is something that gave me a whole new meaning to local tourism at its finest. And I wouldn’t trade a single part of the past 3 days for anything.
Thank you to the Provincial Government Of Quezon, Tourism Quezon and JOP Productions/Galaxy (esp. Mr Jaylo Pizarra) for making me a part of Niyogyugan Festival 2016! 🙂
