Here is one of the upcoming entries of Aces & Queens for Miss World Philippines 2016, and she will form part of the quintet being trained by the beauty camp for the said competition.
Arienne is a brainy and articulate lady. Her main advocacy is on education. But to know more about it, here is the complete 411 on the Kapampangan lass:
“Arienne Louise Calingo hails from Angeles City, Pampanga and is 24 years old. She graduated with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and is elated to know that Miss World will be taking place in D.C. this year. As a lover of languages, Arienne can speak Arabic, Spanish, Thai, and Filipino. She is a lecturer of Arabic language at Holy Angel University and also serves as EducationUSA Ambassador for the U.S. Embassy in Manila.
Education is something that means the world to Arienne. She has been a volunteer teacher to children since she was 17 years old, presented about international education worldwide, and founded a scholarship program in Bangkok last year. Through all her experiences with education, Arienne created LEAD: Leaders in Education, Advocacy, and Diversity. In Angeles, there are more than 1,500 street children who do not have access to education. Through LEAD, Arienne is collaborating with fellow Kapampangan visionaries to create informal education programs for these children. She hopes to provide scholarship opportunities in the near future, as well. As a full Filipina, proud morena, and hardworking woman, Arienne hopes to represent her country, Filipina beauty, and the resilience of her countrymen at Miss World. Mabuhay!”
