Tomorrow night at the Tanghalang Pasigueño, the lives of three ladies will change the minute they get crowned in the finals of Jewel of the Philippines 2016. This trio will represent the country in Jewel of the World, Miss World Peace and Miss Charity Queen International. And from the twenty-three lovely contenders, I made a short-list of my favorites to make it through.
The ladies in my upper tier are: Fel Sharae Banaybanay of Mandaluyong City, Inna Patricia Gita of Bulacan, Prexie Mae Balunggay of Tabuk City, Babyerna Liong of Tacloban and Meagan Vinasoy of Isabela. I feel strongly for these five delegates and would be happy to see three of them get the crowns at stake. My potential spoilers to the five are Novie Shane Leonerio of General Santos City and Cindy de Vera of Pangasinan.
Let’s see who will make it to the top among them. By the way, this inaugural edition may have only three titles being offered, but in 2017, the number will increase to five (5) with the official addition of Miss United Continents and Miss Globe International in the slate.
Congratulations John dela Vega and Orientscape Productions for staging this new multi-titled beauty competition. I’m sure the finals (which will be aired over at GMA News TV on August 28) will be a success! 🙂
