Now here is one girl who pleasantly surprised your blogger during the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 Press Presentation. Initially, the official photo I received had her sporting naturally curly hair. But when she was spotlighted at Hotel 101, she suddenly had her locks straight and styled in a “Taras Bulba” do that captured her brightly-smiling face along with a projection that makes her stand out (she could tone it down a bit but everything else is fine).
Petche Ann Vale is Mutya 17 representing Bohol and below is her self-written 411. Read now:
There is a palpable level of self-confidence brimming in the personality of Petche Ann Vale. And together with her good looks and over-all personality, she could perform well in the competition.
“I am Petche Ann Vale, 20 yrs old. I come from the town of music and from the city of friendship proudly representing Loboc, Bohol for Mutya Ng Pilipinas. I’m just a simple woman who always has the trust and faith in God, in short I’m a Christ-centered woman. Talent-wise, I may not be that good in singing but I know how to sing, and for your information I know how to play instruments like Clarinet because I’m a band member of Loboc Youth Ambasadors Band (LYAB) since the age of 12. We’ve been taught how to read notes and how to play instruments with the the Loboc Youth Education Ass. (LYEA) I’m one of their scholars and it is a big help for me when I was a student before. As a working scholar, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technolgy at BIT-IC. Though I haven’t yet taken the Licensure Examination this year, I am using my time to join pageants and modelling gigs so I can practice more on how to present myself in public and become more confident. Taking part in Mutya Ng Pilipinas is my greatest achievement in life. I can’t be here without the guidance of the Holy Spirit from the Heavenly Father and my parents who are very supportive in what I do and who I am today. I always have that positive thinking that I will make it in athis conpetition. I do believe that what i think in my mind I will become.”
Your thoughts, dear readers? 🙂
