Last night at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City, the Official Candidates of Miss Tourism Philippines 2016 paraded their best National Costumes to guests and members of the Press. This is an important thrust of the competition because each candidate needs to show pride and honor in showing off the traditions of their respective provinces as reflected in what symbols are shown in their Tourism-related garbs.
A few of the numbers worn looked familiar, especially the one on Miss Palawan which is clearly the Edwin Uy creation that won for Parul Shah the Best in National Costume award during Miss Grand International 2015.
Now you be the judge as to which ones really stood out in originality among them. 🙂
