  1. Ang iingay eh…mapanood nga uli itong HD version ng new favorite kong international pageant. Ganda kasi pati ang advocacy…may heart and soul…I am sure magiging #1 pageant ito someday…Go Nawat …. Go MGI…Go Thailand…Stop The War Now!

    Dear Mr. Nawat,

I really love your organization, please continue what you are doing and ignore the bitter people around who from day 1 had wished the demise of your organization but you have proven everyone wrong, instead, it has become one of the most-participated pageants in the world and that speaks volume of its credibility, of its advocacy, of its heart & soul.

I know you are aware of the fact that these haters are just bitter people because in a way, they always want their representative to win all the pageants in the world, if not, they will go in throngs to say things like “lutuan” , “not credible”, “questionable”, “etc. etc.” just to appease their “we’re the best mentality”….there are about 196 countries and territories in the world, and these countries are also sending their very best to these international pageants like yours, am I right?

So, please continue doing what you are doing and I am sure, my beloved MGI will reach the pinnacle of pageantry in 2 to 3 years time. Go Go Go!

    Regards,

    Jeremi

  2. Ang fresh and fair naman ni Miss Dominican Republic kuno and now Miss MGI 2015 Anea Garcia sans the smokey make-up. She looks so Asian and not even morena at that. I had to read the caption just to know her identity. Bet na bet! And I agree that she is a major upgrade compared to last year’s winner who wasn’t even in anybody’s radar to be within striking distance of the crown.

Yung production. Yung lumalabas na contestant info sa gilid. Yung production. Yung sayaw kada segment. Yung production. What else? Well it is worthy of it’s name, Miss Grand Imitation. And yeah Jeremi I’m a bitter person kasi binatikos ko yang MGI mo.

  5. Just asking: Why do you think this pageant did not air on Star World and either the Big 3 TV network in the PH despite the “world class” production and Parul Shah’s 3rd Runner Up finish?

Buti naman, MGI, at major upgrade ang winner this year from last year’s. Hihi

I hope they come up with more attainable advocacies like education for young women, stop violence against women, defining women empowerment and self worth. Pero production wise, bongga talaga. Maganda yung video presentation, stage and flow of program hindi siya boring. At par ang production sa Big 4. I hope may maghost na other country. And infairness talagang international caliber most of the candidates ha

    • IMO, war affects all of us in one way or the other, it is not a funny thing and millions of lives have been lost and other millions have been displaced and suffering because of it. You may not like their advocacy and may say that it’s unattainable, but to say it’s funny is beyond pathetic and immature.

      • Oh i’m sorry i think you misinterpreted what i just said. My bad co’z i didn’t explained it clearly. I find it funny because the advocacy ‘stop the war’ is pathetic. Hindi ko pinagtatawanan yung whole concept ng war (the cause and its effects). The segment was funny for me because i can sense the lack of sincerity among the girls. The segment was so fake for me. Well that’s my opinion. Sorry for being pathetic and immature tho.

      • Jeremi please… ALL YOUR COMMENTS HERE are just attacking and opposing anyones comments… you are so irritating! Get a life dude.. #pathetic crazy pageant fan boy. I can say you have a very gloomy life.

      • @pageantryXXXpert

Isn’t it ironic? Siya pa naman yung giliw na giliw to stop the war pero siya yung nag sstart ng war dito. Duhlinnnn… walk the talk at paki simulan ang peace sa sarili mo. 😉

  9. The production is great but it’s the owner who lowered the credibility of this pageant specialy after the “victory” of his bet at Miss Intercontinental.

  10. Honestly, I find this pageant interesting after watching it. Parang it’s a mix of MU and MW. In fairness, ginastusan, parang milya ang inilayo sa Supra, Global, Intercontinental even Ms. Earth. This is something I look forward to watch next year.

    • I agree… those who say otherwise are just bitter. We have to give credit to the deserving, biases aside.. Production wise, it is at par with MU, MW, and Supra.

  11. The thing about MGI is para bang nag focus sila production lang.. ang sosyal ng production nila! Ang mag deny… bitter! Char.

    • The intro claimed that this pageant is one of the big 5???

For me: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Supranational. So, Miss Grand International is number 6?

      • Grandslam DAW.

According to importance ng pageant to ng GRANDSLAM, ha?

        MW, MU

        —————-

        MS, MGI then MI.

        ME is not included.

Ang nag rate niyan ay certain website lang like MISSO and SASH 😀

      • IMO, war affects all of us in one way or the other, it is not a funny thing and millions of lives have been lost and other millions have been displaced and suffering because of it.

Ngayon, dahil nabanggit mo rin naman ang puno, bunga, flower at kung ano ano pa, i-parallel ko ito sa hangarin mo na mag focus sana sila sa mga victims to rebuild their lives…with this you are contradicting yourself dahlinnn… dapat para matapos ang paghihirap ng mga biktima, dapat sugpuin mismo and puno, in this case war. And who said that war is impossible to stop? You? hmmm

      • SO you weren’t asking for MY opinion in the first place, ha? You want a ~talaktakan~. Sorry, not interested. But I respect your opinion and whatever you have to say and your judgement sa mga sinabi ko kasi ang tao pag iba pinapaniwalaan never kayong mag meemeet sa gitna. Good day, Sir. 😉

      • i like their advocacies, stop the war. if we base the pageant in advocacy to become a big pageant then i can say this one should consider as big pageant new or old basta may laman ang advocacy and the most important is ung credibility. bale wala kahit anu pa ang advocacy kung walang credibility. if nawat continue to play this show with good managing. honest and full of heart at umepekto ang advocacy nya then no doubt it can surpass what MW or MU did. pwede pa sila maging top 1. dahil War is everywhere sa panahon ngayon magandang advocacy yan. il hope na magkaroon talaga sila ng contribution about that war. Proper negotiation, talking and more to give a chance to stop the war.

      • Hi Geoff! EXACTLY! They just need to step-up! Tipong ~walk the talk~ kasi andun na sila eh. Siguro baby pa masyado yung pageant kaya mejo slow pa. I’m following this pageant simula ng na-feature ni Sir Norms nung 2013 kaya alam kong wala pang gaanong galaw maliban sa pag promote ng pageant mismo. Pero sana this year simulan na nila ang hangarin nila. 😀

      • Essence for ME (ha?) when it comes to pageantry.

Kasalanan mo to! Char. :p

Yung mag fofocus sila sa war victims tas they’ll help them have a new life.. ganern.

  12. Who is the Philippines’ candidate for MTQI (tourism queen intl) happening right now in China ?
Is it Hannah Sison or Kimverlyn Suiza ? or perhaps Lisa Lehman ? or Katrina Dimaranan?
It would be shame if there is none. We can easily win this. The contestants are not pretty.

  13. Oh this is the lady that hails her father albeit a rapist which influenced her in her life. HMMMM. How about the mother who willingly carry you for nine months even though the traumatic experience.

    • How did the rapist father influence her? Have they met? I agree with most of the comments regarding her answer.. For me the Q & A was not really the basis in choosing the winner in this pageant.. Claiming to be in the BIG FIVE is too early…

  14. Trivia- Mariana Jimenez participated in miss grand international 2013 before her major makeover becoming Miss Venezuela 2014 and soon to be seen in miss universe 2015! What a transformation!

  15. And the very Miss Earth-inspired opening dance segment.

And BbP zoom-in camwork for every candidate’s introduction.

    • No matter what people say, I was impressed with the production of MGI (compare that to the Eat Bulaga-ish Miss Earth edition that was held at the UP theatre) and based on the number of participating countries, IMO it is destined to be one of the major pageants around. I actually find the pageant having heart and soul.
