In today’s NCR Screening of Miss Republic of the Philippines Beauty Pageant at the Fisher Mall in Quezon City, seventeen (17) lovely Filipinas signed up for the chance to become one of the Official Candidates for the revival of the national competition that has taken its mission to a higher level of education and tourism thrust. Ms. Lynette Padolina, CEO and President, led the judges in scoring the applicants in cocktail wear/swimwear and also in testing their individual communication skills – a very important component of the contest.
At the end of the event, ten (10) of them were deemed qualified to move on to the Final NCR and National Screening scheduled for July 21, where this year’s batch will be completed and joined by the representatives from the different regional searches and the entries from various Filipino Communities abroad.
Looking forward to seeing the lucky ladies who will shine through till the last cut! 🙂
