Owing to the Press Presentation last February 17, a shake-up to my “Twelve To Triumph” list is definitely in order. And my, what a shuffle it has been. A good number of faces disappeared, a once-fallen Binibini re-appeared and two new joiners enter the dozen for the first time.
The biggest jump from out of nowhere is Binibini 34 Teresita Ssen Marquez who zoomed to #3 all of a sudden. Thanks to her exceptional presentation last Tuesday. And I believe that – save for the middling height – everyone else is in agreement that she could be a real spoiler to the early favorites. Fellow camp sister Binibini 7 Enrica Roxiele Guieb also makes her debut here. This lady could be a solid performer if she gets full harness all the way to the finals.
As for the top spot, Binibini 11 Janicel Lubina showed the way and is the running #1 at the moment. Her stand is not unshakeable, though. Binibini 21 Alaiza Malinao and Binibini 24 Ann Lorraine Colis could combine for a forceful performance that can topple the highest tier in terms of ranking.
Repeaters Pia Wurtzbach and Hannah Ruth Sison – plus Binibini 12 Kylie Verzosa – slipped, temporarily I hope. Binibini 29 Nancy Leonard re-appeared. And Binibini 19 Christi McGarry remains in firm contention. The rest should still keep their placements until the next update. 😉
