For the January 25 finals of the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant in Doral Miami, there will be two international guest performers – brothers at that. Enrique Iglesias and Julio Iglesias, Jr. will be coming to entertain the worldwide audience as well as sing to the ladies during their separate spot numbers.

You will all remember Julio Jr. as the singer during the 1999 Miss Universe Pageant in Trinidad and Tobago when our very own Miriam Quiambao made it all the way to the Top 3 and clinched 1st Runner-Up to Mpule Kwelagobe. Will he bring good luck to our MJ Lastimosa? And will the luck be even greater with Enrique around?

I can already visualize a highly entertaining show at the FIU Arena. And it is possible that the more popular Enrique will perform the English version of his song “Bailando” as shown in the video below.

Palagi naman kaming humble ah😢Sa lahat ng mga na achieved ng mga pinoy like PIA and Manny pacquiao 😢Proud lang kami| ang mga pilipino na na achieved ng mga kababayan namin ang mga bagay na impossible.   3. As much as I really do like Miss Phillipines, I honestly hope she doesn’t even make the top 10 just to shut up the Filippino fans. And who keeps paying for them to be presenters every year?

    I’m sorry Norman I love your blog, but really, I can’t stand your constant over-zealous opinions of your candidates. There is just a limit to how you guys want to make the rest of us throw up. You suck the fun out of these pageants! Does the Filipino people really value themselves so little that they have to place such extreme high value on winning and placing in Beauty Pageants? The Venezuelans and Americans, and even the indians have been the most successful countries, but they are so humble and are never in your face. That’s how confident they are in their achievements that they don’t have to push it so hard all the time. Geez you people need to stop now, put a lid on it, it’s tiring.

  4. i have been thinking about Enrique Iglesias na sana sya at si Sean Paul ang mag perform for the Swimsuit Competition at kakantahin nila ang Hit song nyang Bailando, well d man kasama si Sean Paul, sana yon pa rin ang kakantahing song.

  6. Don’t forget Enrique Iglesias performed in 1997 in Miami Florida. That edition brook lee of USA won the pageant.

    Maybe this year it will be USA and Philippines again in the top 2?

    • Individually, they are gorgeous – and even stunning! But placed side-by-side with other candidates, I doubt if any one of them would stand-out astoundingly!

      • @d3ch hihihi yup! our family is from this small town called sagay. i think it’s near isabel’s town as well. forever nag kwekwento mga auntie ko ng anecdotes about her. pero saling ket ket na lang ako. tuwing summers lang ako nandun noon. halos wala na rin roots they all migrated 😦 you?

      • @Benji haha rusty…na pero I just want to say abaw linti…lol Pag may family gatherings alam ko may nga maranon here and there sa party. May.mga auntie ata ako na chummy chummy still. Small town same circle. I remember we had a trip sa malaking farm na di ko na appreciate at namatay ako sa sunburn tinulugan ko lang. Sa kanila daw yun. Well samin a long time ago but lost the land sa gambling. Classic.
