MJ gamely answered all the questions of the Press

image You’ve got to be really passionate about pageants to brave the crawling EDSA traffic back and forth from Paranaque to Cubao. That is exactly what I did earlier for the Official Send-off given by BPCI for Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa at Balay in Araneta Center.

And it is something I would not miss for the world. This was BPCI’s last Press Event for the year and a well-attended one at that, considering that outside the venue, the place was also lined up by a big crowd of solid MJ Supporters eagerly waiting for their idol to spend a few minutes in huddle with them.

All her Bb. Pilipinas 2014 sisters were accounted for, as well as Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta. And just to add extra glitz, Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2009 Bianca Manalo and Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2010 Venus Raj also showed up to give their words of encouragement for MJ.

As for MJ, she has now reached that point where learnings have been fully maxed. Did you know that she actually did her own make-up for the portrait shot that was uploaded to the Miss Universe website? Talk about being a real hardworking learner of a beauty queen, she is a contender for the most diligent and effective trainee.

Tonight, MJ will depart for North Cotabato to spend time with her family. Right after Christmas, she will return to Manila to make final preparations for the packing of her wardrobe. By January 3, she will be departing for Miami via Los Angeles aboard Philippine Airlines.

  5. Out of all our delegates, MJ is the most pressured :(( She has it already eh. Like Ive said before she’s a perfect blend of Venus, Shamcey, Janine and Ara correlated with her own set of unique qualities as well. She has so much potential. She’s a complete package. I just really hope ienjoy niya lang ang competition. I don’t want her to get eaten up by the pressure :(( Especially now, ang dami pa lang sad news na nangyari sa personal life niya 😦 We all love you MJ! And just do the best you can!   10. Since your first bid for the Philippine crown, I have always wanted you to win. January 25 may be the most nerve-wracking day of my pageant-following life that will trump 1999’s pageant.   14. di na ako magwo-worry sa wardrobes niya. since BPCI naman eh laging naiissue sa wardrobe dept. madaling damitan si MJ, sa sexy at ganda niya kahit bigyan mo ng plain black dress yan, kayang kaya niya yan i work. I trust BPCI naman na kahit luma/outdated or recycled ang damit nila, hindi naman nila papabayaan ang mga reps natin.

  17. im not a fan of cut out dresses (tama ba term ko?) basta yung may butas sa abdomen area. i find it awkward.

    pero nagustuhan ko ang suot ni MJ. bagay na bagay sakanya, sexyng sexy siy! love her styling and aura. I doubt kung cumbia/BPCI nag provide ng dress niya.. pero kung sila nga.. infurr ha.

    BTW, Tito Norms anong message ni Madam kay MJ? curious lang, para kasing wala pa akong nakikita/nababasa na sinabi ni madam sa mga binibinis pag send off e. hehe

      • Gaya gaya mga feelingerrang santolan may walk walk na rin sila! Isama mo na mga ambisyosang taga aling dionisia! MJ hawiin mo sila sa lalakaran mo pagdating mo sa dora!

      • Bakit ba yang mga tga santolan na yan laging nka abang sa mga kandidata natin….at gagayahin ang mga styling ,mga tag names sa pasarela walk etc. parang mga walang utak…di sila gumawa ng mga sarili nilang idea para umangat kandidata nila….at sisiraan pa nila ang mga rep natin…mga bwiset!!!👊#sarap hagisan ng mga bulok na santol…lol

    First of all, I hope she enjoys herself out there in Miami. She should not succumb to pressure.

    Confident ako kay MJ. Doral-ready na. Fighting form na talaga. Sa styling, super achieve na ang beautiful, sultry, fresh and young look.

    Now this got me thinking…ok kaya na i-adapt natin ang ginagawa ni osmel sa venezuela na one year ahead ang pagpili sa mga queens? MJ had 9 months (apr-dec) to prepare and talagang nakatulong yung time sa pag-refine ng look niya. What do you think?

    • New crown for MU2014. under diamond international corp. that one holding by paula at stella is from diamond nexus . Lets hope Mj is the first one who will win the new crown.

  34. in the beginning I pegged her as the next miss universe but now doubts are creeping in. gosh I hate this! She still didn’t get the goddess look I was expecting. but still I have my trust I know she can do it.

      • @Mrs. Spainhour. Kumukulot kasi ang aking bangs sa mga ganoong klaseng komento. Para bang ang ganda ganda nila at mapupulaan pa si MJ. Mula pa 2011 kay Inday MJ na talaga ako. Sa Miss U kasi, pasiklaban ng katawan ang Top 16 bago makapasok sa Top 8 kaya kompiyansa ako kay Inday MJ. She is always in my prayer.
