  1. Bianca lost, cried and has moved on and so have I and her fans. Guys,it’s not the end of the world for Bianca. There is life after MI 2014 ! She has better things ahead of her. So let’s all move on, shall we ?
Bianca is still a winner for me no matter what 🙂

    • I still in agreement with what Bianca once posted…that her Food looks better than her…If there’s a deserving winner, it’s her Food!

  2. I dunno why…. but I’m starting to dislike her… her statements, her choice of words, her know-it-all vibe, her frankness… she is beautiful, but I have to say, her true personality is not that of a true Queen… 😦 She finally unleashed her true self…

  3. This is the reason why I am really doubtful with this girl. PLASTIKADANG RETOKADA.

    • and she really invited Ms. Canada no? parang decency or delikadeza na lang na since PH ambassador naman ang mineet mo, sana Miss PH na lang, kahit ba pinay yung isa.. after all competition pa rin ito and you really have to side with PH. whatever happens.

  4. Bea is the Worst Miss International ever.
    Also, the most travelled queen.
    List of destinations:
    Philippines,Myanmar,Japan and

    Navotas Port.

  5. wow teh anyabang mo talaga. go and start preparating your food! (sensya na di talaga maka get over sa preparating)

Pero sana kung gusto mo sumikat not with the expense of other people. Mahal namin si Bianca no matter what kasi mas malagu ya keka at maganaka at simple ya keng tune biye. Tse!

  7. I don’t know Bea personally so I can’t really make a comment on her. But based on this interview, I can see why most of us on here are a little thrown off. I do see glimpses of narcissism between Bea’s responses throughout the interview. BUT we can’t really conclude anything from this piece of information. Kasi like I Said, most of us here don’t know know her well enough to accuse her of such things and associating her name with such offensive words is not going to validate anything. Maybe she meant well, but just failed to use the appropriate words. Nonetheless, move on na tayo from Miss International! What’s been done has been done and there’s no way we can turn back time. Let’s focus on the current pageants na lang and support Yvethe, Kris and Valerie!

  8. The Culprit why Bianca did not land in the top 10 is the Photo of a Bento Box with her written hashtag # MyFoodLooksBetterThanMe. Mukhang sineryoso ng mga judges, specially Be a. Kaya ayon, Ligwak!

One thing is for sure, Bianca was really really really reaaaallllly sad from the moment na hindi siya natawag as top 10. yet we still post nasty comments on her IG, FB or twitter re her gown, her make up, her styling.. which I think hindi tama. Bianca needed to feel loved and sinusuportahan pa rin natin siya. I think mas nahirapan siya mag move on or makabangon kasi untill now may magcocomment

“sayang. clapper, hindi tayo nakapasok.. dahil sa gown mo yan.. pero okay laang support ka pa rin namin.”

Like, seriously? ganyan pa comment mo? Sure ko lang is Bianca wanted to win, for the Philippines, not for BPCI, not for A&Q and lalo na not for herself. 🙂

  10. Teka last na about the fans:

Ayokong isisi na nakaka turn off ang fans at inopen nila yung pageant at ibinenta nila ang tickets. If they wanted the event to be solemn dapat nagpa briefing sila. dapat by invitation lang. wag i blame sa fans kase the mere fact na pumunta tayo must mean ang agenda natin is to show support and boost the morale of our candidate. it is a competition…a beauty pageant at that…natural na may masigasig na fans…nagkataon na tayo yun at kultura natin to..

Regarding the use of our culture as a justiffication for our tendency to be loud supporters in beauty pageants, i find it really sad na ineexpect natin na ang venue o host country or other stakeholders ang dapat mag-adjust. Tama ba yun? What’s d result? We are 1 of the 2 moat unliked nationalities hero alongside mainland chinese. It’s a tragedy. 😦

    • The fans are not being blamed…. It’s Bea’s reaction to the fans… Instead of staying poised and focused, she started grinning and smiling widely which may have turned off some judges.

They wanted queenly, classy and regal like a geisha. Not a Disney princess….

      • yes. that’s what i understood. na-overwhelm siguro si bianca sa fans daw kaya hindi na siya masyado naka-focus na dapat eh pasimple lang pero elegante at classy pa rin. yan ang point ni bea, not necessarily the noise of the fans, but the effect of the overwhelming support of the fans to bianca.

    • Hi Laila…without the noise of the Filipinos that pumped the spirits up of Venus and Janine in Las Vegas, do you think they would be in the place that they have reached? Thanks to those fans…they created awareness for our bets.

Isang malaking turn-off. Dapat beforehand magkaroon ng briefing sa kanila if in case sa kampo nila ulit manggagaling ang Bb. Pilipinas International.

#moveOn #noTeaNoShade

  14. I just can’t get over sa line na ” I raised the bar so high for her” Lakas ng hangin!

Never heard such words from Lara Quigaman, Megan Young, Mutya Datul.

    Tsk! Really disappointing.

    • I’ve accepted Bianca’s fate but I’m really off with Bea for giving this interview and with its contents. There are a lot of things off in this interview but “I raised the bar so high for her” is the most that made me cringe. Regardless if this is “raising the bar” is as a mentor and on teaching what to expect or being the previous winner, I find Bea’s answers really disappointing and offending. She appears to be she full of herself. Remember Ines Ligron’s making an intriguing statement about Megan? Ines said Megan has an attitude and was compared to “good girls” like ara and bea rose. Ines also shared that Bea Rose told her to just slap her face if ever she starts having attitude. And now we see this and her previous words and actions. Well, she seems to have an attitude already.

I think the interviews she gave, allowed us to have a further glimpse of who Bea really is and what kind of person she is. Yes, she is candid and frank (a person can be candid and frank in a good way) but there’s an attitude of arrogance in her. She may have brought the crown to the country and that’s a proud moment but I just can’t warm up to her especially after hearing and reading these recent interviews. Just my opinion of her.

  15. Pano ba to??? Tahimik na sana eh. As much as curious ako kung ano talaga nangyari…hindi ko na sna nalaman na heartbroken ng husto si Bianca kase na sa sad ako. Sana she didn’t grant this interview na lang. May point naman sya na it was technical, baka hindi na sila naka pag mathematics agad agad oo nandun na ako pero nanahimik na yung isa doon eh…this just gives us a reason na pag pyestahan pa nangyari.

      • ewan ko ba…mukang may karir naman sya elsewhere…sana manahimik na lang. meron din syan point oo gets ko yun pero wala sa panahon na pag usapan pa natin to ngayon. sana nag sulat nalang sa ng memoirs nya in like 20 years. hindi yung now pa nya sasabihin …naaawa lang ako lalo dun sa isa….

@benji nagpapaka kontrobersyal! Mare!!! gaya gaya sayo! hahaha

  16. Ikaw na BEA ROSE!!! Tsk it would have been better if she did not grant this interview (if ever she was asked, o baka ng volunteer)

I admire Bea for winning 2013 MI but I was disappointed to read this article. Punong puno ng kayabangan!!!

Read between the lines, puro putting down ang ginawa kay bianca.

  18. I was sad for a moment when my Marianne didn’t make it. But that’s her fate. In a competition, there are so many internal and external forces affecting one’s performance. Marianne put her best efforts and I was proud of her. I’m glad she’s moved on and remains upbeat and positive. As for Bea Rose, good luck on your journey after Miss International. You did good. Now be a better person.

  19. We were all hoping for back to back for the Philippines for the Miss International Pageant. Unfortunately it didn’t happen. Things happened for reasons. What ever the reason is we don’t know. But one thing for sure, Bianca did her best. Unfortunately it wasn’t good enough. I’m pretty sure that if you put ten different judges the results would have been different. We all know that beauty pageants are too subjective. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Too bad that luck wasn’t on Bianca that night. For they would have had a beautiful, sweet and loving girl as their queen. To Bianca, you have nothing to be ashamed of, good luck.

  20. It is very difficult to trust a scorned woman who days before the Pageant would berate those responsible for her not being able to travel in many countries.
It is difficult to rely on the words of someone who is emotionally battered and psychologically wounded for a frustrated and unproductive reign.
A scorned woman is vengeful and cruel…she would like others to experience heart-wrenching misery more than she ever experience…and this I believe what Bea has done to Bianca!

Furthermore, Bianca was ill-advised by many conflicting views of her advisers, and one of them is Bea. If you review their interview with Karen Davela, you will see there how the criteria of the Pageant will make the contestants act according to “rules” and not be there as how they are. I think, along this line that Bianca got confused all the more: follow the hypocrisy as demanded by the “paractice of the culture” and rule of the Pageant? Or be there the best that you can be and represent your country as proudly as you can deliver?

  21. i have to agree with Bea. Bianca was overwhelmed by our support (esp. the Filipinos at the event) and she forgot to tone down. BUT i’m happy she didn’t tone down.. why? cause Bianca is known for being fierce and owning the stage when she walks. During Binibini, my jaw completely dropped when I saw her strut down Araneta in her swimsuit! And if she had to change her personality, and runway skills to become Miss International (Just like what Be said..) parang the crown means nothing anymore if you win because you’re not being yourself anymore. Overall, I’m happy with her performance. She didn’t have to change herself for anyone which is what really matters. She did what she would’ve usually done and it was a good performance! Sana in the future she can compete again.. para hindi naman siya sayang. In fact, she should just be sent to Miss Universe in the future ahahaha cause her personality and her skills talaga match the look of MU. Fierce lang talaga siya. That’s all. And that’s not what MI is looking for.

  22. Enough of hating pipz. Bea & Bianca both did a good job & our country proud in their own ways. Pahhleassse… let’s move on! But hang on, before we move on… enough of ball gown pahlleasssse!!!!

    • I agree, bagay lang ang ball gown kung ikaw ay 5’5 na small waist at ang kulay ay red na plunging neckline to semi-expose your well engineered boobies. 😀

  23. Enough of hating pipz. Bea & Bianca both did our country proud. Pahhleassse… let’s move on! But hang on, before we move on… enough of ball gown pahlleasssse!!!!

  24. Here we go again. Blaming game. Let us all move on. Let us face the fact . The strategy was not good enough. Wrong gown wrong hair wrong walk. Demure effect
Was lost which is the paramount criteria of the Japanese. Don’t be mad but that is the truth of the matter. Let us all close the chapter.

  25. Hahaha I love it when Bea said ” I PUT THE BAR SO HIGH FOR HER” …. Very good way of saying ang Ganda Ganda Ganda ko kasi— she couldn’t level it

I love Bea Rose and her candidness and her self confidence…. Nagmumura ang confidence ng Lola!

  26. Good grief, folks, enough already. Bianca did not win that night because of her gown choice or her predecessor. She did not secure the crown and title because the judges did not pick her. Period. It does not diminish the fact that she was a fabulous representative of the Philippines. The thing is, the judges that night just had different taste and chose accordingly. If you all were judges that night, you would’ve picked someone else too… and I guarantee that most of you will have different folks in the semis as well. Different people, different tastes. Plain and simple. I like this Bea Rose too… but it does seem quite arrogant of her to say that she “put the bar too high” for Bianca as if Bianca is no where near the same caliber as her. Pffft!

    • What I meant in the second sentence was that Bianca not winning has nothing to do with her gown choice or her predecessor — it’s just that the judges favored someone else that night.

    • Agree. Even our two past Ms Universe winners Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran admitted that they won not because they were the best in their batch but just “swerte lang”. They just happened to be what the particular set of judges at the time was looking for. It is time for us to stop blaming almost everything and everyone for our candidates’ not winning. Sometimes we forget how much sacrifices our delegates made just to be the best possible representatives for the Philippines. And what do they get in return for their efforts when they come home empty handed? Insults, blame, and anything but the appreciation they deserve for their efforts.

  27. This has been discussed many times already. She lost and there’s no way to turn back the time. It is water under the bridge. I wish we could all move on. Bianca can do well in showbiz where she can make more money than crying over spilt milk.

  28. Let’s move on, Bianca did her best. For Bea, oh well, i like her too. I like her being prangka and taklesa.

  29. I really don’t like this girl,Bea Rose, parang napaka high and mighty, may aurang plastic, for me lang naman, pero wag din naman siyang sisihin sa pagkatalo nung isa, malay naman natin diba?

manahimik nalang din sana si Bea about this kasi si Bianca tahimik naman at nag move on na,mukhang masaya naman na siya.

  30. Siyempre pag nanalo si Bianca that night.

  31. I really blame the gown, yeah its her personality, pero ang performance nya at poise nya nakadepende pa rin sa gown na ipapasuot sa kanila. during binibini her gown was simple and elagant, and she won best in evening gown. Her performace last binibini is what MI looking for. But why BPCI didnt gave her a simple and elegant gown like ung sinuot nya nung binibini, alam namn nila kung ano ang hinahanap ng MI.
I dont believe that MI is not ready for a back to back, i know bianca will do very well if she won and MI will be proud of her.
Its not either a fault of jonas gafud her mentor, dahil ang itinuturo nya ay nakadepende sa personality and specially sa gown, kung fit, simple and elegant ang gown nya hinde ganan ang performance nya last MI nighs.
    SO REALLY SAD FOR BIANCA.

  32. Stop blaming Bea.

And just as I thought that we have seen the last article about Bianca’s loss, meron na naman ganito. This just causes rift between the queens, the beauty camps and the fans. I find this post uncalled for.

Like what Bea told, Bianca’s Binibini and MI performance were the same. It was Bianca’s night during Binibini and not on MI.

Don’t blame the gown or Bea. She is not the only judge during the competition. I am not a Bea fan either but come on, let’s stop the blaming game. As mentioned, maraming silang judges, and even if she gave Bianca the highest score, there are other 10 or more judges.

When Shamcey won as 3rd runner up in MU did someone blame Leah for not placing her high? Wala naman. So stop it and move on.

    • Apparently, people cannot move on kasi naman Bea gave that interview pa. Don’t blame Norman for putting this up because in the first place, that Pep article is already very public.

    • Shamcey’s case is different. Bea is the predecessor + mentor. Lea played fair and square. She was just there and admitted Leila Lopes was really elegant, and then she ranked Shamcey second. Now, do you think Bea as a judge would rank Bianca first? Obviously no. She didn’t even say that in the interview, because, for all we know, she ranked her lowest. And she wouldn’t admit that of course. That probably is the reason she didn’t post any congratulatory message to Bianca or any sort of support. She’s guilty. Kasi if she ranked her highest she’d say that.

Go check this Bea Rose’s instagram. Full of vanity. And does hashtagging her name, linking it to beauty all the time and doesn’t share a thing about the Yolanda victim she was talking about when she won. What a hypocrite. And in addition, her face if plastic.

    • Gown has nothing to do with it and Bianca was poised and full of grace–elegant sya!! It’s MI not ready for a back to back. Part of it also is Bea’s engrataa and ungrateful-fake attitude. Bea’s true color shined through!!

      • If not ready for a back to back? Why sending bianca? Dapat kung hinde sila ready sa back to back dapat hinde na pinadala si bianca, para ano pa? May maipakita? Eh almost nagiiyak na nga si bianca dahil ligwak sya, alam namn siguro ng MI ang feeling na hinde ka makasale sa semifinals dapat hinde nalang pinadala si bianca kung no back to back.dapat next year nalang sya pinadala if better qualified pa. Nasayang si bianca.

      • True! I feel like Bianca was sent to the pageant in the wrong year… Because if you honestly think about it, she’s a full package. She’s beautiful, charismatic, very intelligent and down to Earth. She would’ve been the perfect ambassador of peace and beauty! But I guess BPCI took the risk! Laban kung laban ang peg! And I think they were really hoping they could go for a back to back win with Bianca because she has the ability to do so. Pero ayaw talaga ng MI organization ang back to back win eh. I doubt it will ever happen in the future.

  34. Since the very start Bea is mayabang and I never liked her!! She needs to shut up and zip it. Honestly she only won because of typhoon Yolanda. PERIOD

    • Let me add also–BASTOS sya and so high up on herself!! Bea is starting a camp war with this…hay Bea go home to Canada na please tang ina utang ma loob!!!

  35. I recalled when the competition was over, she didn’t even post anything for Bianca. If I were the mentor, and If i were the predecessor, I will be so concerned. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Well in this era you can actually see what’s in their hearts through the things they post. I really do not like this Bea Rose Santiago. Good thing Bianca is not that cynical and just listened to her counsels. If I were Bianca I could have told myself: oh. This woman definitely wouldn’t like me to win. lol. Bitter.

  36. Bea is secretly happy about it. Certainly. If she really was concerned she could have told Bianca to talk to the fans and explain to them what Japanese culture really is. At least, Bianca competed as herself, no pretense, unlike this Bea Rose. She won yes, but she’s a total hypocrite, trying to conform to the norm (i.e. I don’t care about my integrity as a person so long as I get that crown). She won by changing herself into something she really isn’t. She really just won because of Yolanda. I mean if she really cared so much you’ll see the contents of her instagram reflecting that. All she posts are vain stuff. Not a good role model to beauty queens definitely.

  37. For all we know, as a judge she gave the lowest point to Bianca…it was a subconscious retaliation for a “frustrated reign” — a psychological revenge for a desire to travel a lot which was unfulfilled. She was a mentor of Bianca…does it mean that all that she taught was not effective?

  38. Her gown really looks beautiful and elegant. I can’t believe a lot blamed her gown for not making it in the top 10. The MIO was obviously biased AGAINST the Filipino fans that night kc nga napaka conservative nila na grupo.

  39. Subtlety, class, and sophistication are adjectives that will never hold true for fanatic fans from the Philippines. Winning is always sweeter when you least expect it. Bea spoke the truth on how the fans seriously affected Bianca’s chance to win. Even in online forums, people immediately know where you are based on comments about the Philippine candidate even though the picture or news has nothing to do with the candidate.

    • I’m afraid i share your view this time, Franco.

It is high time for some Pinoy fans to realize that their inconsiderate behavior might be causing our bets’ downfall. Their unruly, excessively proud, & loud way of support is may be appreciated in d Philippines, but could be loathed elsewhere, reflecting negatively on our candidates who bear d brunt. U may give me thumbs down all u want, but pls don’t hate me, coz i just feel d need to opine as such as my own little way of encouraging some introspection among us pinoy pageant aficionados for d sake of our dedicated & hard working bets in particular & us as a civilized & considerate society in general.

      • Thanks AJ! People who follow a cult do not like being shown the light. Someone needs to speak up and bring sense to these fanatics. Supporting the candidate is ok but do not get carried away. We still need to use common sense!

  40. I hope the Bea-haters stop blaming Bea. To me, it sounds like the haters just have to find something (or this case, someone) to blame for our MI-defeat this year…just because they can’t point their fingers directly at Bianca.

She did well. It just wasn’t Bianca’s night.

    • Hi Y Chang. I don’t hate Bea, I just find this interview uncalled for. She could have answered in a humble manner.

      • Yup! It’s not about blaming Bea for the loss but it was her interview and her attitude that we’re pointing at. She thinks highly of herself. One can be candid but still be humble and proper. Bea is not that unfortunately.

  41. Wow bianca looked great in her gown.she was really pretty. I guess it was not her night.
And maybe Bea was right, the judges were not very positive abt the loud Filipino audience .
