  1. Norman,

They keep announcing that there will only be one title this year…. SO WHY THE CHANGE?

Miss Asia Pacific was bought by this super business who owns that Movenpick chain which is now present in Cebu! They have been promising to stage the pageant but they haven’t done it….but since they bought the franchise for a few years already they are tied up with this group until the contract expires… I say just award it to another group who are more serious to stage the contest

    • I think it was a decision made after making an announcement that only one title will stay. Given the high quality of candidates, giving just one crown would be unfortunate.

  2. Tito Norms, bago ang crowns nila no? bakit kaya nila binago? i mean, are there any reasons kung bakit sila nagpalit or gusto lang nila? hehe

  3. Yay! I’m so happy that my bet Glennifer won the Tourism title and she has now the biggest challenge to have a back-to-back-to-back

  4. bkt gnun ang crown? 😦 sayang nmn, ang gaganda kse ng crowns the past few years. pero ang gaganda nmn ng mga winners!!!! go eva, push n ntin ang country of the year again.. hahaha lol

  5. Sir Norms, may I know who’s the biggest winner? Asia Pacific, Tourism International or Overseas?

    • The organizers actually prefer Mutya Asia Pacific as higher than Mutya Tourism, but it is the latter title that has brought honor to the pageant. It has really come down to just a nominal edge due to seniority and history even if they were stating (through Renee Salud) at the onset that only Angeli Gomez’ title will remain. Mutya Overseas is much like a token honor for all the reps coming from abroad. Originally, it was just a special award to be given separately (and before the announcement of winners) but they decided to elevate its status inspite of alleged resistance from some concerned individuals.

Many insiders say that the “Asia-Pacific” part of the sash has already been “sold” before to another regional pageant group. But I still prefer to look at it as an alleged info. Be that as it may, chances of Miss Asia-Pacific Intl being brought back to life are dim, if not out of the question. Eva is still very likely to be fielded abroad but in another competition altogether.

  6. I watched it live! One of the questions asked came from you Sir Norman, watch for it during the telecast
