The ladies of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 get a taste of Puerto Princesa hospitality.
Right now, the thirty (30) Official Candidates of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 are enjoying their brief stay in Puerto Princesa, Palawan where they will be shooting clips for the finals as well as putting their best figures in display for the swimsuit competition.
Sheridan Resort & Spa – already branded as the place for pageant beauties to go to when in Palawan – is hosting all of them.
Let’s wait for the swimsuit and video-shoot photos to be uploaded.
Neil Perez is now an Official Candidate of Misters of the Philippines 2014 (Photo credit: Raymund Isaac)
Okay, let me specify his profession more clearly. The guy is a Support Police Officer and just last Saturday afternoon, he made it as an Official Candidate of Misters of the Philippines 2014 during the final screening for NCR and Luzon at Fisher Mall.
The name is Neil Perez. And the guy is definitely oozing with loads of manly appeal. Add to that the vision of him wearing the blue uniform he wears everyday at work and you’ll get what I mean.
Good luck in the competition, Neil! 😉

You don't get to see MJ from this angle that often.
MJ and the family dog Jacob plus a relative
You don’t get to see a photo of Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean “MJ” from the angle in the photo above, especially with just a hint of a smile that brings out the more classic side of her looks. It really shows a versatile face without people looking at (and constantly noticing
) her pearlie whites.
Or if you want her simpler and without all the heavy cosmetic applications, MJ is at her most refreshing everyday relaxed self when at home and bonding with her dog Jacob. She is also just as beautiful when taking selfies with sister Maricar which almost always get uploaded on the latter’s Facebook page.
I’d like to think that you would prefer her in both images.
By the way, this MJ Lastimosa watch would like to give credit to Maricar Lastimosa (for the house pic on the left) and the FB group “I Am For MJ All The Way” (for the selfie). 😉
Mutya ng Iloilo City Froilene Villanueva (Photo credits: OPMB Worldwide, Melvin Sia and Mutya ng Pilipinas)
Mutya ng Iloilo City Froilene C. Villanueva in the ongoing Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 is neither a crowd favorite nor an underdog in the competition so far. Middling in the fringes of the upper tier is where I am seeing her status. But that impression should start to significantly improve now that the organizers have started to appreciate this Ilongga
better. A graduate of Communication and Media Studies from the University of the Philippines-Visayas, this intelligent 21 year-old is not just endowed with a pretty face. She is also a bright young lady who can give a run for the money any strong competitor who may tend to crumble under pressure.
And Froilene knows when to jump the gun on the more weak-willed and easy-to-intimidate. She will grab the chance the minute she catches the window to shine. 😉
Princess Pura could be the very first deaf national beauty contestant in the Philippines (Photo credit: Edmund Chua for OPMB Worldwide)
You have got to give credit to this 17 year-old for her courage to reach for her dreams inspite of the great physical limitations.
Princess Pura is a deaf individual trying her luck in Queen of the Philippines 2014. And in the event that she wins (which is a good publicity angle for the contest), she could very well be the country’s first deaf representative to an international beauty competition.
While the nationwide beauty contest is not as a big an event as the likes of Bb. Pilipinas and Miss World Philippines, it still is being organized to find our reps for three smaller pageants abroad. And what an interesting option to have someone like Princess wearing the country’s sash in one of them. 🙂

Continuing with our Valerie Weigmann watch, the picture above is another one from her pictorial wearing the Vania Romoff Collection.
The black-and-white ensemble is a smart head-turner of an outfit for sure. It may not be the usual attire being worn by beauty contestants, but it will surely make the wearer stand out. A veritable OOTD (Outfit of the Day) if ever.
Don’t you agree, dear readers?
Anyways, today is a non-working holiday (Eid’l Fitr) so I’m taking things easy just a bit. I have been stressing myself out the past few weeks and a full day in bed is just what the doctor ordered. 😉
Four of our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens during the Topping Off Ceremony for Novotel Manila Araneta Center
Soon, a new luxury hotel will rise in Quezon City – the Novotel Manila Araneta Center. And during the topping-off ceremony held earlier at Gateway, four of our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens – Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa, Bb. Pilipinas International 2014 Bianca Guidotti, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Janson and Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Santiago – graced the event. These ladies sure know how to bring sunshine to an otherwise gloomy day with intermittent rains falling all throughout.
Who knew that white hard hats can go well with platform heels? The four Binibinis can certainly turn on the charm. Don’t you agree, dear readers? 😉
