Okay, ladies, you know the drill.
If you want to try your luck in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014, here’s another chance at seeking some fame and fortune in the local pageant world.
Top crown this year could be the Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism International where the reigning winner (national and international) is Angeli Dione Gomez. Now, even if the organizers have already lost the Miss Intercontinental franchise to Bb. Pilipinas, Koreen Medina will still be around to relinquish her sash since it carries the Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International title.
Finals night is set for August 8 at the Solaire Resort & Casino, with TV airing on GMA-7 two days later.
Keep tab of all the schedules and requirements now. 😉
dapat ung lima lahat may Crowned like mutya ng Pilipinas International,Mutya Ng Pilipinas Globe,Mutya ng Pilipinas Heritage,Mutya ng Pilipinas asia pacific and mutya ng pilipinas queen of universe or world payan…!
Miss Globe dapat may ecompete ren kayo…?
Its a shame that the 2nd oldest national pageant in the Philippines has lost another franchise for an international pageant…. and even worst, the very reason why it was created (which is the Ms Asia Pacific) is no longer existing……
Anyway– somoene who cares for Ms Asia Pacific should revive it; Lorainne and Peachy used to take care of this but they are now busy. Ms Asia Pacific 2000 from India seems to be a good candidate or even Lorna Legaspi or Michelle Aldana…. these are the women who benefited from the pageant and will also benefit more in the coming years if the pageant is still alive…. keeping the pageant alive and prestigous will also make their name more prominent
Rene Salud- is of course doing a great job in keeping Mutya on its feet and over years was even able to produce the likes of our Ms International, Bea Santiago. Of course, Rene also made our back to back win possible at Ms Tourism………….. can he also do this for Ms Asia Pacific?
SO EVERYONE MAY KNOW, RENE SALUD NOT THE ONE KEEPING THE MUTYA, HE WAS JUST CONTRACTED BY THE ORGANIZER AS LIASSON OFFICER, THOUGH HAS THE SAY FOR THE PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND THE WARDROBES AND TRAININGS OF THE CANDIDATES. THE OWNER OF MUTYA NG PILIPINAS AND THE PERSON BEYOND ITS CONTINUES EXISTENCE IS MISS JACQUELINE TAN. A 25 YEAR OLD ILONGA BUT BASED IN CEBU. HER FAMILY OWNS SEVERAL HOTELS AND RESORTS, AMONG THEM IS THE SHERIDAN RESORT AND SPA IN PALAWAN. WHEN PEACHY AND LORRAINE SEPARATED WAYS WITH THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF MUTYA NG PILIPINAS FOUNDER BIBOY ENRIQUEZ SEPARATED WAYS ( Their relationship soured because the 2005 edition of Miss Asia Pacific International was a big flop, eventually due to the mis management of peachy& Lorraine and humored to have malversed funds – though this was not proven) ) MUTYA NG PILIPINAS RIGHTS WAS UP FOR SALE, AND SO IT WAS BOUGHT BY MR. JOSEPH TAN, THE FATHER OF JACQUELINE.
The owner of Miss Asia Pacific Quest who runs the Miss Asia pacific is still Mr. Biboy Enriquez. So at present Mutya ng Pilipinas, does not own Miss Asia Pacific. That’s main reason why Mutya could not revive the Asia Pacific that easy due to so many legal reasons.
Alisin na dapat nila yung asia pacific international title since wala na yung pageant at matagal ng na-discontinue. Change it na lang to Ms. Globe or any other franchise like Ms. Asia pacific world.
Miss gLOBE or queen of the world….or miss united contenent phillipines…!
