It’s no secret that I have constant fondness of Aussie ladies, especially the ones who have held the Miss Universe Australia titles like Renae Ayris, Jesinta Campbell, Scherri-Lee Biggs, Rachael Finch and Olivia Wells. And Jennifer Hawkins remains to be one of my all-time favorite Miss Universe titleholders.
For 2014, the national organizers have started unfolding the identities of the upcoming contenders for the crown to succeed Olivia. And so now, I present to you one of the entrants. She is from Sydney and her name is Natalie Roser.

This girl was on the Australian version of Naomi Campbell’s new popular modeling show “The Face”. She made it to the top 12 and was mentored by Australian supermodel Cheyenne Tozzi. Unfortunately, Natalie was the first eliminated from the top 12.
Apart from Natalie, the other hyped girls to watch out for this year in Miss Universe Australia are Tegan Martin, Gabrielle Epstein, Madeline Cowe, Briden Starr, Melinda Kemp and Rachel Ayris.
Gabrielle Epstein, 20, is a 5’9″ beach blonde bombshell living in the Gold Coast and LA. This biomedical student with killer curves is apart of Vivien’s Models AUS and Vision Models LA. She also has her own tumblr blog: babyonfairfax.tumblr.com
Madeline Cowe, 20, is a 5’9″ brunette beauty from Cairns. She is mostly known for being apart of the 8th cycle (2013) cast of Australia’s Next Top Model where she placed 9th out of 15 girls.
Just like MJ Lastimosa, 2014 will be Tegan Martin’s 3rd year vying for the Universe crown. This 22 year old 5’10” blonde beach babe from Newcastle was also Miss Bikini Australia 2011 where she was named Miss Spring and made the top 7.
Melinda Kemp, 24, is a 5’10.5″ brunette beauty from Sydney. Same as Tegan, Melinda is competing for the crown for the third time this year. She competed back in 2012 and 2013.
Rachel Ayris, 21 is a 5’10” blonde beauty from Perth. She’s known for being the younger sister of Miss Universe Australia 2012 Renae Aryis. She competed in 2013 but failed to place.
Briden Starr, 22 is a singing, dancing and acting blonde beauty from Sydney. She was in the musical Hairspray and has featured in the movies Razzle Dazzle (2007), The Wolverine (2013) and The Great Gatsby (2013). In 2012, she auditioned for X Factor Australia where she got a yes from the 3 judges, but wasn’t impressed but Scary Spice Mel B. She ended up being put into an all-girl group and travelled to London where she performed with her group in front of One Direction. Briden caused quite a lot of controversy after winking at Harry Styles while performing (videos of her performances are on youtube). She received many death threats and other insults from trolls on social media.
